It is indeed. That's why I don't believe she creates the vibrato by moving her jaw. You can't produce such a fast, consistent and precise vibrato without using proper technique. What I think is that her jaw is so relaxed that it starts vibrating along with the note. And not the other way around.

Whitney at her earliest years had the most crystal clear and yet powerful voice EVER!! Not to mention her top ability to convey emotions. SHE WAS THE QUEEN of performers!!
