    320 Billion Euro debt for 11 million people? One city with 300 thousand had a 1.5 billion Euro deficit? That's insane.

    It’s not EU fault Greece lie about how much they had debt before they join the EU and then after they join they borrow hundreds billions more now they wants to leave the the EU it’s Greece government fault they are spending to much.

    They were able to retire at age 50 in Greece. How long did they think their insane financial sense would be able to subsist?!

    The Greek citizens have the lowest debt in the world. There problems are connected to the Euro. They have no more control over what their government does than US Citizens do. Think TPP and Fast Track Authority, two different things and both are huge changers for all. The Bulk of Americans have no idea what's in it(thats due to senators and congress being forced to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement in order to see what's in it) Not just Greece but governments are acting unilaterally including (Our) the US government. The other 11 countries who's government's signed the (what citizens in those countries are calling a Treaty) the TPP, all even here are doing it without citizen participation and hiding that they are in many cases.

    Papandreou's brother was betting against greece. He used the prime minister to make money... and he did..
    He was part of the goverment that forged the statistics back in 2000s. Also member of the party that was in power for the most part of the past 3 decades!!
    His mother has a banking account of 500 millions while his father and grand father were prime minister too..
    Bottom line is that law experts say that pupedreou would easily go down for treason in a court.
    This guy is an idiot.. he would rather sell public wealth for pennies now, only for the debt to go up. After 4 years we would be in the same place with less to sell...
    This is what destroyed greece. People voted for people and never paid attention to politics.. They still dont care enough to read or ask what the referendum was about..
    At least learn from our mistakes, seems to be too late for us..

    What do you expect? The Greeks retire at the age of 55. We have to work until 65 or at least until 62 before we can start collecting.

    Greece has to fundamentally change. All parties bear the blame for this. From the corrupt politicians to the citizen who trades in the black economy and not paying taxes.
    Corruption is the cancer that is eating away at the world.

    at 7:50 mark of this video clip, that guy has no idea at all saying about what does he gain by voting yes or no.
    at least you have gained your right to vote! many millions of people have fought and died for their rights to vote under dictatorial regimes. wake up your idea!

    Solution: Greece should kick the IMF out of their country and leave the Eurozone and start printing their own currency. 2nd and most important - They should set up their country as a tax haven and not raise taxes on the people. Wealth will start pouring in and they can set up a better social safety net than they've had. Look at example countries like Luxembourg or Switzerland or Cayman Islands. This is basic intelligence Economics 101.

    Τhis is biased towards the pro Eu interests. Most of the people interviewed were pro Eu , plus the former PM that was from the same party that brought the country to its knees.
    You dont seem so independent to me..

    • @paulrevere47
      @paulrevere47 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      ***** Then why did 61% vote AGAINST the EU proposal. YOU, sir are part of the problem if you believe 80% want continued servitude to money masters.

    • @alexandert696
      @alexandert696 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** 80%? Why did they vote no then? Why did they vote for a party that was against Eu policies?
      And how can you back this claim?

    • @alexandert696
      @alexandert696 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ***** the polls also said that 60 would vote yes.
      The stats companies are owned by the oligarchs.
      Its not a matter of education, if you have a shred of logic you can see how 61 % of the people voting no to austerity cant be 80% yes to euro.
      The polls are made in a sample of the population, they didnt made a poll on 80% of the population. But it was 65% of the total pop that participated and 61 of them voted no.
      The end.

    • @alexandert696
      @alexandert696 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** In the short term there are certainly great difficulties with drachmas.
      In the long term there is no future with euro.
      5 years of austerity made that clear.
      Is it conspiracy theory that there are pro Eu media and anti Eu media?
      Care to reply about the nature of the polls? You know the part "did they ask 80% of the people".
      I ve noticed you changed your statement from that , to most people want to stay in the Euro because things will get much worse.
