I learned to have a couple hundred empty(no foundation ) frames ready for summer. As we break frames during extraction we clean them up a bit and pop them in the new frames as we go. Saves having the crystallized mess of sticky foundations to deal with in January.

You didn’t say there was a right side up on the comb?
The bees will sort that out.
After installation of the plastic foundation do you add wax around the undrawn areas?
Nope. Just let the bees fill that in.
