He always front-hand shaves. You may see alot of other barbers backhand shave, it doesn't make the tinniest bit of difference to the actual shave it's just however you're comfortable working...
It doesnt to the end result but I will say as a barber myself its not the "proper" way to do it. In school they teach us 4 strokes to master to do a full shave in various areas of the face. Of course in the shop nobody really cares about doing anything the "proper way" but I feel if you are going to make a tutorial it should be to the book. Just my opinion.

This barber gives a really good shave. He makes sure he gets all the hair of the face and is very precise. I wish the volume was up so you could hear the razor, I love that sound.
