- In this video I show you how to install a virtual machine from Virtual Box, and install Windows 11 on the VM to create a safe area on your computer before installing the VCX Nano software.

So great to see you again!
@@iamchristielove Thanks Christie!
Can this program modules, used ones after 2014?
Thank you
Great info. Thanks for sharing. Just curious if you might know the answer to this. I have a 2012 CTSV and need to replace the Suspension Control Module. I bought a used one on ebay but will need to program it when I install it. Not sure if that module is coded with a VIN or not. Do you think the VCX Nano is capable of programming that module or do you think I need a different device to program?
@@trainingdragon1964 the VCX Nano should be capable of programming the new module, you’ll have to use Techline Connect like I show in my most recent video.
@@LowbuckLS thanks so much. I'm about to watch your newest video so thank you. I also subscribed to your channel since I like what you are doing.
By signing into your account you are defeating the security of the virtual PC. You are potentially giving any malware/virus access to your (online) account details. You can setup a local account that has no access to anything online - just the local PC. And you can still do this with W11 - Microsoft does not want you to do this though - so you have to look for the option.
@@jonathanrees3765 ok good to know, I was wondering about that. I might re-install the VM and not sign in to my online account.
@@LowbuckLS You can add an account locally using computer management - make sure you add the account to administrators group. Log onto new account and then remove Microsoft linked account - so no need to rebuild
What all does this do? Is it like hp tuners? Is it better than hp?
@@jchaire3622 It has a different purpose than HP Tuners, this is more for doing diagnostics the same way a dealer would. For example my truck currently says “Service 4 Wheel Drive” on the dash, with the VCX Nano I can diagnose and clear the codes to solve that problem.
@LowbuckLS ok nice! I have that same light on my dash. I will look into this. Will you be making more videos on this?
@@jchaire3622 yes sir, working on a follow up video right now
I was kinda assuming it was a virtual machine
Randy you wouldn't happen to be an Instrument Tech would you? Haha just a guess by some of the apps I see you use. I am one at the Suncor Refinery in Edmonton.
@@bagged68C10 yes sir, instrument tech/electrician by trade
