- This is a recording of a house concert played in the year 2005 by Smt. Anupama Bhagwat at Haidar Adina ji's residence. Accompanying on the tabla is Shri Abhiman Kaushal ji.

I agree. She deserves the title of “Queen of Sitar”, as Roopa Panesar, her peer sitarist is referred to as “Princess of Sitar”. Anupama is the pride of India, Saraswati.

Aparna your Shudh kalyaan has mesmerized us. The tone of sitar, gamak, tan and fine mir tune has perfectly synthesized in one cord. Alaap is fantastic. This rag is such that it reaches to parameswar. Gives feeling of puja. And to hear in silence. But sorry to say some listeners over enthusiastic comments at play was disturbing and breaking the atmosphere.
