Thank you Andy!!! Grat video and very good lesson… as a beguiner I was looking for an easy way to play Autumn leaves and finally I can play it… happy 😃 Grazie 🙏🏼 Ciao Maurizio
I would send old self back here if starting a hundred years ago, before the leaves started to fall. And I would send anyone here who asked where to start. So fine, Andy. You deal with things that many of your YT colleagues omit, like form. Thanks. I am going back to rake some more.
Getting used to jazz chords can be tricky! In today's lesson I show you what I think is the simplest way to play 'Autumn Leaves'. Even though I’ve been playing this standard for years there was still a lot for me to learn from your video as you go above and beyond the call of duty! 🤣 Great job Andy! 😇
How would you dial your amp, using your Tele, to play this? I have same one. Definitely intending to Patreon you after my holiday, to nail Autumn Leaves.
Thanks Andy
You are very welcome Jim

My pleasure - glad it was helpful :)
Cool lesson! I can't wait to try this out
Thanks!
Excellent lesson. I'm only just starting to try and learn some jazz guitar so this was very easy to follow. Thank you.
Glad you found it helpful, I've got quite a lot of new to jazz content on the channel.

Thanks so much for this simplified version. Very helpful. Keep up the great work!
My pleasure. I figured this is such a popular song it would be good to something like this.
Thanks Andy! Great lesson as usual! I think you forgot to add this video to your 'Autumn Leaves chords, soloing and harmony and more!'
playlist.
Thank you Deepak. I did indeed forget 😂 Thanks for reminding me, I'll do that now :)
Awesome lesson
Thanks! 😃

It's amazing how these songs are never finished! Always new ways to understand and play them. Thanks for commenting Robert.
Nice!
Thanks Annette 👍

Hi Steven, depends on the amp and the room. Do you have the same Tele or the same guitar? Have a good holiday 🌞
@@jazzguitarwithandy Same amp, assuming it is what I believe to be a Vibro Champ
I'm on a strat with Yosemite pickups, so will only get so far
What you don't like about the Clapton version for this song?
I don't know, it just doesn't do much for me. I only really like his 60s and early 70s recordings.

How much string muting is going on?
There is a fair bit! Hard to avoid that, unless you play finger style.
