ARR is genius of course... അങ്ങേരുടെ പാട്ടുകളുടെ കുറവുകൾ പറയാൻ പോലും ഇനിയും ആളുകൾ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.. 'ഉയിരേ' യ്ക്ക് മുൻപ് എത്ര പേർക്ക് ഹരിഹരനെ അറിയാം? 'എന്നവളെ' യ്ക്ക് മുൻപ് എത്ര പേർക്ക് ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണനെ അറിയാം?, 'ചിന്ന ചിന്ന അസൈ' യ്ക്ക് മുൻപ് എത്ര പേർക്ക് മിന്മിനിയെ അറിയാം? ഗായകരല്ല... ARR എന്ന programmer ആണ് ആ പാട്ടിനെ control ചെയ്യുന്നത്.. Best example is 'പച്ചയ് കിളികൾ'... സാക്ഷാൽ യേശുദാസ് പോലും വിചാരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാവില്ല അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ voice ഇങ്ങനെയാണ് ഇറങ്ങാൻ പോകുന്നതെന്ന്..

Ar ചെയ്തു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പല സാധനങ്ങളും ഇപ്പോഴും എനിക്ക് ഒരു അത്ഭുതമായിട്ടാണ് തോന്നാറുള്ളത്.especially the way he ends the song. പിന്നെ ആ ഫീൽ കിട്ടിയിട്ടുള്ളത് ഇത്രയും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും harris ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ മാത്രമാണ്. Love ARR❤️

ഒരു ഉത്സവം... അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു ചെണ്ടമേളം കാണിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് അല്ലാതെ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സോങിലും ഇലത്താളം ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുപോലും ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. അവിടെയാണ് മലയാളികളുടെ ഇലത്താളം അത്ര പ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ അത്ര മാസ്മരികമായി റഹ്മാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്.

ഞാൻ എന്റെ 5th age തൊട്ട് കേൾക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയതാണ് Rahman Song കൾ. അഞ്ചാം വയസ്സിൽ ഞാൻ കേട്ട് എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ട് ഞാൻ പാടിത്തുടങ്ങിയ പാട്ട് "Pettai Rap" Song ആയിരുന്നു. അന്ന് ആ വയസ്സായ അമ്മൂമ്മ പാടുന്ന പോലുള്ള ആ ഒരു ഭാഗം ആണ് എന്നെ കൂടുതൽ ആ പാട്ട് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. പണ്ട് ഞാൻ അത് പാടുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ വീട്ടിലുള്ളവർ ഒക്കെ ചിരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. കാരണം, ഞാനാ വയസ്സിൽ ആ ഒരു voice imitate ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. അത് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാവർക്കും ഇഷ്ടമായത് കൊണ്ട് വീണ്ടും ചെയ്യിപ്പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് ഞാൻ കേട്ട് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന songs ഒക്കെയും Rahman songs ആയിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ, അന്ന് ആ പ്രായത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് അറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു, Rahman ആരാണെന്നോ എന്താണെന്നോ ഒന്നും. എന്റെ മാമൻ അത്യാവശ്യം നല്ലപോലെ പാട്ട് ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന ഒരാളായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ വീട്ടിൽ കെട്ടുകണക്കിന് casets കൊണ്ട് വരും Tape players കൊണ്ട് വരും ഒക്കെ ചെയ്യും. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എനിക്ക് ഒരു 2nd std പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലം തന്നെ ചെറിയൊരു Tape player ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. Maman വാങ്ങിവരുന്ന casets ഞാനും എടുത്ത് എന്റെ player ൽ ഇട്ട് കേൾക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ആ സമയം casets ന്റെ cover ന് പുറത്തു AR Rahman ന്റെ മുടി വളർത്തിയ പടമൊക്കെ ഉണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നു.

1994 ഇൽ റിലീസ് ആയ കാതലൻ. സുരേഷ് പീറ്റർ ആയിരുന്നു പാടിയത്. കാതലാണ് ആർ റഹ്മാന്റെ കാരിയർ ബെസ്റ്റ് തന്നെ ആണ്. എല്ലാ പാട്ടും ഒന്നിനൊന്നും മെച്ചം ആയിരുന്നു
1989 മുതൽ ഇപ്പോൾ 2024 ൽ എത്തി നിൽക്കുന്നു ഏ ആർ റഹ് മാൻ്റെ സംഗീത ജീവിതം കൈ നിറയെ സിനിമകൾ ഈ വർഷം ഇറങ്ങിയ ആടുജീവിതം, ചംക്കീല, മൈദാൻ ഈ മൂന്നു ചിത്രങ്ങളിലേയും ഗാനങ്ങൾ സൂപ്പർ ഹിറ്റായിരുന്നു.
1987 ലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം മ്യൂസിക് കരിയർ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്

Good vedio, the music experiments that really made my jaw drop from rahman goes below.
1. Chayya chayya the percussion beats exactly sounds like train
2. Meenaxi,cycle bells theme and end with a bass guitar thats super good used the wow sound like they really jamming in the studio.
3.rehna tu, from delhi 6. Can't even describe what all layers are playing behind the vocals.
4.mottuvittatha, pen manathil moham mottuvittatha. Song Using all yodha themes as bgm.
5. Super police, song sundara (rap, pareda pareda )
6. Baba tippu tippu song (symphony sounding like avatar war bgm)
7. Vellimalare.. (The taal in vocal and the play in tabla goes different at start)
8. 127 hours, if i rise the end portion where children do chorus.
9.127 hours ( never hear surf music again, im on high portion )
10. Keep the hustle song (million dollar arm ) get enough to do with it mixing @2:07
11. Kappaleri poyach beats, will be hard to play live yet perfectly blend in the original.
One full year won't be enough to explain his skills

Oh man thanks a lot for this video. Rahman literally changed the path of Indian film music. And he did a lot of experiment in the sounding of percussions as well. He has experimented that in our Kerala traditional instruments too. That chenda sounded so different and unique in kuluvaali song. And I always get amazed by the sounding of tabla part in telephone manipol song. We have heard tabla in numerous songs. But how could someone make that sound so fresh and new

ARRs genius for me can be seen in "Mei Nigara", its not a very popular song, but the whole song plays a little out of sync and the singers go a bit flat at times, but the harmony of all the sounds are so sweet. Genius!!!
