Hi, I´m not really sure what you mean that I placed the chopping board holder wrong, I placed it as I saw it on the item´s store pictures. I personally love this rack, I´ve never had an issue with my soup bowls, plates, glasses, pans etc drying, sorry you had a bad experience w/it.
