i do enjoy these fights, but i cant help but see how it highlights just how dumb the AI is in comparison to what these monsters actually should be able to do. Of course it's hard to actually replicate it though, but i find it hard to believe that Kirin, a being capable of planning and battle tactics would taunt so much and get hit by Bazel's mine field so often.. we know by lore that kirin is so light of foot that it doesnt even bend the grass under its feet when walking. Yet as this outcome shows, we're supposed to believe a tactical thinking monster that controls thunder would willingly walk through the mine field more than once, and not just shoot Bazel out of the sky. Also shame that the AI chooses the hunter thats not even attacking them over the other monster thats biting their "brown star" over and over :P
Again though, no quarrels with the video, I think they're great at showing what's possible, and they're super entertaining! But more of an issue with the AI.

well if AI would be better damn bazel would never land only bomb from air plez no and psycho pony would teleport like in battle with rajang that would be even worse i cant even imagine how hard game would be then ....... to the d.joe i dont know if his improved Ai would change much thou
Maybe someone could mod and better AI or an agro item that makes monsters target what ever it was used on.

@@Voidsent_ yeah, but not nearly as much as diablos and black diablos. Also, rathalos was a whimp, urgaan could be better. Them spimming around could make a funny fight too, but i'm always on pickles side, so i wouldn't mind the pickle showing me that thouse oily boys are not worthy.

But, yeah. Kirin is unique among the MHW Elder Dragons. He's like the battle mage of the group, and a unique fight in MHW.

Kirin's greatest disadvantage is that the Thunderhorse' attacks don't do a lot of damage.
Still, one hell of a showing.
Guess after seeing Bazel whoop DJ in the previous face off and in this one aswell I just have to accept that Bazel has a slightly higher chance of winning against jho. Although Bazel won, AI and agro play a huge role in this fight so it could be a totally random outcome on who really wins the fight.
You know what would be fun? Dropping a few tzitzi or 2 into these fights just to see the flashes, cause they seem to immediately flash other monsters

I don't get it how is it that to hunters kirin can one shot us even through a ton of thunder res but we can survive 2-3 explosions from the bomber, but against each other it's the other way around. Bagel barely takes damage even though he is 3 star weak to thunder.
Exactly how much armor and thunder resistance are you talking about? With 51 Thunder Res he's not getting anywhere near 1 shotting you, even with his strongest move while enraged.

Why Bazelguese isn't an elder dragon?
Because in lore it's not crazy powerful. If anything, it may be on par with EDs like Deviljho is, but beyond bombs, it has nothing to offer in other power.
Because Bazelgeuse fits into the flying wyvern class. The elder dragons are monsters that have either 4 legs and 2 wings or don't fit into another existing class. For example Akantor and Ukanlos are two flying wyvern that are so strong they used to be classified as elder dragons until it was discovered that they were actually flying wyverns.
I think you should stop shooting stone at the monster at the end, because you don't know what could happen. Kirin could come back. I mean, he's an elder dragon, man! ...on the other hand, I loved it!

Bazel is a fucking monstrosity, goddamn. We're VERY lucky it's not an elder dragon. We're EXTREMELY lucky we don't have Arch Tempered Bazelgeuse or Deviant Bazegeuse.

The explosion is OP, player usually only get one time dmg from it so it doesn't hurt as much but the monster poise is too high they end up getting full dmg of every single explosion, that's how bagel win most of the fight

Bazel And Jho have 3 stars on lightning I'm going for kirin here and on the other side I have 400 defense and get 3 shot by Kirin every armor point decreases damage by .02% So Kirin does about 750 damage in one attack enough to kill low rank Gjagres But monsters have no armor so let's say Kirins Horn Poke does About 150 Damage to a monster Btw Can you do Gjagres V Ggirros V Dodogama

What I just wanna know is how is this man able to successfully block kirins lightning attacks even when hit from behind. Me? Even with the guard up skill I still get hit or paralyzed every. single. time.
Where are all the noisy Deviljoe lover? He can't even beat Bazel or Nerg. Nor can he stand fighting Kirin and Bazel.
Anyways, I'd love to see my two fav Nerg and Bazel go toe to toe. The Bomber vs The Powerhouse.
Deviljho is all physical. It's no surprise that it looses when put up against 2 monsters that rely heavily of very frequent AOE as their main moveset. Primary reason Bazel beats EVERYTHING is because it can just fly around occasionally and do nothing lol
