What if death was actually the most powerful wizard at that time but his identity was unknown? A man who never was part of history in the wizardry world because he lived in seclusion across a river, a river that devours any man who comes into contact with it due to magic.
The second brother represents "envy"? What? Are we reading the same story? He wasn't jealous of anyone. If you're reaching to fit the brothers' desires into sins, the closest one for the second brother would be greed. Even the wizards know that one can never undo death. He KNEW that bringing his fiance back to life was not possible, but he got greedy and asked for it anyway. However "greed" as a sin usually pertains to material goods, not so much the internal desires and decisions one makes based on them.

The three brothers is parralel with the story of harry potter itself voldy represent 1st brother who seize power to avoid death, in the end after all his horcruxes destroyed he finally dead Severus represent 2nd brother, take a risk being double agent for albus because of his love for lily, after all he being killed by voldy Harry is represent 3rd brother, he survived wizarding war and live peacefully for longer time And albus? Is represent of the Death itself, voldy is dead because of his genius grand plan, severus dead because of the task of double agent he give it to him, and in the end harry itself could survive in this wizarding war FYI, if I'm not mistaken albus itself doesn't believe that tale of three brothers are real, albus more believe that three deathly hallow is created by powerful wizard in ancient time rather than the Death itself
So true but I think that there is a connection between Dumbledore, Voldemort and Harry as THE ELDER WAND which the first brother had, has now been passed by generation to generation and Dumbledore was the last who had it. THE STONE of second brother is the same which Voldemort had and was given to him by his mother. THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK which belonged to the third brother and it has shown clearly that he gave the cloak to his son before going to the death, and Harry had his cloak given by Dumbledore as it belonged to his father, James. So I think the story is obviously REAL as there is many evidences about it.
when I was reading the book, I was always wondering how they will portray the tale of three brothers on screen, the director did a brilliant job displaying the story, the fashion was beautiful, this scene exceeded my expectation.
I dont know why, but I’ve read Harry Potter for years now and I barely understood the meaning of this story. The first brother went back from his journey to avenge his past self, sort of, and suffered the consequences. The second brother went back from his journey to have love that is lost in the past, and he suffered his consequences. However with the third brother, he moved forward with his life, and was able to enjoy it on his own terms. The first two brothers were careless and wanted to fix things from the past, stopping their journey together, and sadly learned the complications with that, but with the third brother, we truly was humble and moved on and enjoyed his life with his family. The point is, we can’t change the past, all we can do is forgive it, forgive ourselves, and move forward in our lives, so we can enjoy life once again.
the thing i really enjoy about the Deathly Hallows objects, is that they were created out of junk that was nearby. but fashioned by Death to be priceless. lmao
Think that is the River Styx, and the brothers found a way to get to that other side without meeting Death. Death wowed them with trinkets, they took them and totally forgot about the bridge they had already made. Voldy in his youth had already crossed the bridge with the first Horcrux, and he also was wowed by the trinkets, so Death was able to find him.
I wouldn't be surprised if people got nightmares from this sequence. The animation just makes it even scarier. If I hadn't read or heard the original Perrault or Brothers Grimm fairy tales (which themselves could be dark, especially compared to their Disney versions), I would wonder how this could have been read to children by their parents.
I always thought it was a good choice to have Emma Watson narrate this story. Sure it fits her character too, but i think her delivery made the story better than if Daniel radcliffe or Rupert Grint had narrated it
Theory: the bridge they made was the archway in the ministry of magic, the "river" is a metaphor for the barrier between this life and the next. When they tried to cross Death as a personification blocked them, and to persuade them to refrain from further attempts to visit the afterlife while still living he gave them the knowledge to make the deathly hallows

voldy represent 1st brother who seize power to avoid death, in the end after all his horcruxes destroyed he finally dead
Severus represent 2nd brother, take a risk being double agent for albus because of his love for lily, after all he being killed by voldy
Harry is represent 3rd brother, he survived wizarding war and live peacefully for longer time
And albus? Is represent of the Death itself, voldy is dead because of his genius grand plan, severus dead because of the task of double agent he give it to him, and in the end harry itself could survive in this wizarding war
FYI, if I'm not mistaken albus itself doesn't believe that tale of three brothers are real, albus more believe that three deathly hallow is created by powerful wizard in ancient time rather than the Death itself
Obviously, we know the story is real. I do though think Dumbledore believes that Death did create the Hallows.
So true but I think that there is a connection between Dumbledore, Voldemort and Harry as
THE ELDER WAND which the first brother had, has now been passed by generation to generation and Dumbledore was the last who had it.
So I think the story is obviously REAL as there is many evidences about it.
when I was reading the book, I was always wondering how they will portray the tale of three brothers on screen, the director did a brilliant job displaying the story, the fashion was beautiful, this scene exceeded my expectation.
shadow puppet style animation is amazing
The nostalgia...❤😊
"Twilight's fine. Better, actually." - Ron Weasley (context removed)
😊🙏 Love this very much indeed! Exquisitely drawn animation to tell the Three Brothers who wanted to cheat Death but doing so in vain ... 🕯🌏🕊
the thing i really enjoy about the Deathly Hallows objects, is that they were created out of junk that was nearby. but fashioned by Death to be priceless.
Absolutely love this style and since the game has been out for a few months.
Except a Nintendo switch I love this style used in Hogwarts legacy
The fact that the three brothers each appear with more and more hair! Lol
0:57 Death and I don’t mean it metaphorical or rhetorical or the poetically or theatrical or any other fancy way I’m death. Straight. Up.
The animation is so beautiful
I wouldn't be surprised if people got nightmares from this sequence. The animation just makes it even scarier.
If I hadn't read or heard the original Perrault or Brothers Grimm fairy tales (which themselves could be dark, especially compared to their Disney versions), I would wonder how this could have been read to children by their parents.
Children need to be scared sometimes. Otherwise they become soft nobody's who can't take anything that remotely challenges them.
@@Nio744 True, but there's a limit to that. They may need to be scared a little, but they don't need to be traumatized.
Imagine if one of them had asked to take possession of Death's own scythe (assuming this version of Death even has one of course).
From publisher of the Quibbler to Hand of the King in Westeros. Mr. Lovegood has gone far in life
1:18 - first brother represent Tom riddle
1:28 - second brother represent prof. Snape
1:45- third brother represent James Potter
emma watson has a extremely calming voice 10/10!
The moral of the story is that you cannot cheat death
I always thought it was a good choice to have Emma Watson narrate this story. Sure it fits her character too, but i think her delivery made the story better than if Daniel radcliffe or Rupert Grint had narrated it
Moral of the story: death is undefeated
I think there should be a movie about this
Always wondered if the brothers had a connection to the Unforgivable Curses.
Antioch - Avada Kedavra
Cadmus - Crucio
Ignotus - Imperio
Theory: the bridge they made was the archway in the ministry of magic, the "river" is a metaphor for the barrier between this life and the next.
When they tried to cross Death as a personification blocked them, and to persuade them to refrain from further attempts to visit the afterlife while still living he gave them the knowledge to make the deathly hallows
First brother - voldemort
Second brother - Snape
Third brother - dubledore not harry because dumbledore accepted death wisely to save the elder wand
we simply won’t have movies with scenes like these anymore should ai take over the film industry 😢
I still think the French version of this scene sounds better and more poetic, but Emma Watson did a great job here.
0:08 Ron had a death wish and bro did not hesitate at all, Infact he smiled so proudly not knowing that he almost died
