Every day, father and son eat, drink and play together. This is a house filled with love and happiness. Little monkey Kyo has a habit of sucking his fingers, his hands are swollen and red. Dad has applied lemon, bitter honey and many other methods but the little monkey still hasn't stopped sucking his fingers. Do you have any experience helping a baby monkey stop sucking his thumb? @@monkeykyofamily I thought it was a baby, yes I've had pets all my life love animals, that seems to be a bad case on the hands I've seen some of them get bad fingers from sucking alot of monkey channels I watch alot of them puts mittens on their hands or tapes them up to get them to stop sucking thier thumbs wich is very very cruel if you saw then you'll know why, most people don't realize monkey's have most of the same DNA as humans and the same emotions ,wants and needs just can't talk why do you think they act just like human babies and kids, the theory of evolution that we are derived from apes ect, sometimes a pacifier does the trick just don't get one with big nipple on it ,some of the monkey channels moms tie a string or something around thier neck with pacifier attached to it so baby can suck it anytime it wants and not lose it or have to wait for someone to give it to them seems to work just don't tie it tightly of course you know make it like a necklace where it hangs little above chest

Kyo likes to drink milk a lot, and likes to eat bananas, rambutan and watermelon a lot. Little monkey Kyo has a habit of sucking his fingers, his hands are swollen and red. She is very sweet little girl….please remember that she is just a tiny baby n still very young. She would be clinging to her mom all day everyday and eating most of the time. Mom is never far away and that builds trust and her confidence. Also how she learns. As for her sucking her finger….you need to realize that babies, whether human or monkey do this….especially when they are feeling scared, stressed or hungry. Please do not put anything sour or hot on her fingers. This is cruel. And please do not tape or cover her LITLE hands. She needs them to learn how to walk, play, climb and be a monkey. She is little, she will stop sucking on her own. If you make sure u are feeding her enough, that she is not hungry, n u are allowing her to cling to you, be with you as much as she needs to be you will see she will stop. In the meantime keep her busy, let her climb, stay close to her, allow her to cling. When you see her sucking her fingers the first thing to do is offer her her bottle. See if she’d hungry. Having a bottle ready at all times will really help. Think Of how they are when they are with mom. They don’t normally suck fingers bc they can drink milk whenever and as much as they want. This is what you need to do now since u are mom to her. Then play with her to keep her distracted and using her hands.
