Even when a lot of them are pushing 40 now, they still wipe the floor with any of the current boy tarts (bands) out there. And it's not just nostalgia talking. Nostalgia can take me pretty far, especially with these guys, but I have to say, I love pop music and I love boy bands, if they're done right, if they're fun. I have no problem. The reason I have had a problem with Jonas Brothers or One Direction is not because they weren't Backstreet Boys or even NSync, it's just that they're simply not good. They lack the music, they lack the awesome vocals, and they lack the sincerity Backstreet Boys have. Even in this song, even though it covers a familiar boy band topic-coping with how to live your life now that the love of your life is gone from it-it's done in such a way that is genuine and touching.
