- I am staying at the cheapest Disney World Resort, Disney's All Star Movies Resort preferred room! I stayed at every Disney Resort in the world. That means Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Aulani, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, well at least that's the goal of this series. This will be a fun series! All Star Movies is my favorite out of the All-Stars. I think the All-Stars are a great value because you still get most of the perks of the nicer resorts (transportation, extra magic hours, ability to try to get boarding passes early, etc)-I also think that with kids-the All-Stars are fun places to stay with the larger than life theming 🙂
JoJo! Great job reviewing the resort! My only suggestion is to ride the transport to see how much time it takes to get to Magic Kingdom or others! It’s always on my list of things to check when I book a room!
Yes! Visit all Value resorts, then Moderate, then Deluxe.
I love the all-stars! Pop is usually our go-to for the skyliner but the all-stars are super fun especially for kids!! Can’t beat the value and we spend most of our time in the parks anyway!! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I work at the Swan and Dolphin and it’s a very nice hotel. It was a very nice pool and the rooms are nice.

Definitely gonna have to check out the All Star Resorts for my next solo trip. I'm not one to use much of the amenities when in Disney so this seems like a perfect resort with reasonable prices (for Disney). Thanks for the video JoJo!

We have visited WDW many times but have never stayed in a Disney hotel! As we come from the UK we find it easier to stay off site .

Wonder if since you started at All Star you should continue in order of the tiers like all the value, then moderate, then deluxe… that might not be possible with reservations though…either way you do it I’m very excited to see them all!

We stayed in Mighty Ducks section back in February for our first time and our almost 3 year old son absolutely LOVED the theming here! We would gladly return to all star movies. Most the time we literally only came back to sleep/shower since we were in the park the whole time so it’s a great value.

Love this idea. I feel like you need to do several lux resorts though because they are all so different and some spread apart. Poly has always been my dream stay, but I stayed at Contemporary last trip and it was amazing! The room was so nice and comfortable bed! The pool at Poly is definitely better. But I’m curious to see more of AKL, Wilderness, and Rivera. Definitely stay at Beach Resort too- I hear the lobby smells amazing. Excited for you to get to the other Disneylands too! ❤️

I stayed at all star music in early 2000s for marching band when we marched down Main Street USA and I definitely remember the piano pool, and the broadway area
All star movies is a fun resort. I have stayed there before with my family and when I went to Disney world my first time ever years ago.
This brought back great memories from when I was a little girl and my family stayed there!

I really enjoyed the All Star resorts when I went.
Looking at them online they appear corny and cartoonish, but once you get there I found them to be really cool!
The rooms are a decent size (in fact, they're the same size as your moderate resorts, no cap). It's just the fixtures and decorations are simple.
Pop Century is exactly the same, so don't spend extra for Pop. Stay at an All Star. It's usually a little cheaper. Plus, you're really close to Blizzard Beach and you're in between Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

I hope you have fun with this series. My family mostly does "stacations" and maybe hits a park once a year, but we have a blast just resort hopping and exploring everything without paying money for a park (just for food lol).

Jo Jo this is our family bucket list. We have finished all value, moderate and one Deluxe. Going to movies on the 14th to 17th next week. Can't afford our goals of deluxe this year as we have three cruises this year as well. I hope to meet you next week. Hope you can be at Epcot Saturday as a ton of creators will be there. 🥰
On my second visit to the parks, I did stay at a resort the All Star Music. Seeing you check it out was so nostalgic, I remember the path along the pool. My regret was not swimming at the pool and pose with the Three Calbaeros.

I really like the Caribbean Beach resort because you get to walk to the Riviera to go to epcot and also the coffee shop in the Riviera is really good
Jojo I think this will be a great series. I know there are 12 Disney resorts throughout the world (not counting Vero Beach and Aulani). I have no idea how many resorts there are. Good luck! I look forward to your future videos. A suggestion would be to establish a formal scoring system. Include pools, value for what you get (amenities), food, the room.

I've stayed at music and movies. I stayed at all star movies in January it was awesome loved it. October 2023 I'll be at art of animation for the first time I'm so excited.
Great series love the idea. I stayed in All Star Music when I was 7 years old. It was Walt Disney World‘s 25th anniversary, and I have been back a few times to Disney world since then. But my up coming trip will be special since I am staying at all star music for Disneys worlds 50th!

Very cool idea. Tokyo DisneySea will blow your mind. They just opened up a new value resort and the Fantasy Springs Expansion comes in 2023.

Love this idea! I think that was enough for the all stars but visit the other two value resorts (POP and AOA). Then moderate and deluxe. So fun!! The swan and dolphin would be a good add as well, since they are walking distance to EPCOT and HS.

This has always been our “home resort” and it fits perfectly in terms of it being a value resort, I think for the money, it’s an incredible value for a WDW resort

AS Movies is my fav last minute, cheap go-to when I need to get a quick Disney fix in! Also good to add a day/two to a longer vaca, such a great overall resort for the $$!

Super episode. Don't forget while you are an adult looking at that property, little kids will just be in awe. I'm 76 and I would be in awe. It's nice to see that people with average incomes have a chance to stay at Disney. As for the taste of the water in the pools, Disney is obviously using a salt based system rather than a. chlorine based system. I believe it is the latest technology in pool maintenance. Finally, your enthusiasm for everything is really what makes your episodes interesting.
We stayed at pop century.. exactly the same room , I chose that because of the cable cars going to different parks.

I am looking forward to you series of staying at the different resorts. I stayed at All Star Movies in 2007. They have done a nice job updating them. I stayed at the Herbie section when my father and I went there. It is what convinced me to buy into the Disney Vacation Club.
I think this is a great idea cause you can give your opinion or advice in each level of resorts. You should make the first part of the series the All Star resorts and move to other value resorts and move your way up.

My family of 4 just stayed at All Star Music this past March. It was all we needed to relax mid day and sleep at night. We were happy with our choice

You don't need an expensive/ or fancy room at Disney, your in it to basically sleep. And if your in it for more than that then your missing out on Disney!!
Stayed there last December. The quality of those rooms are excellent. I was surprised. Exceptional quality for the value.

I went to the All Stars Movies resort for the first time back in 2017 it was nice although I didn't get to explore it. We are heading to Disneyworld last week of July into the first week of August and this time staying at the All Stars Music Resorts. Wanted to expierence a different hotel. Hopefully we get a little bit of time to get into the pool and explore more of the resort.

We had stay there before and it was fun we stay atvthe sports area where you at now so we are coming down there for Christmas and we are going to stay there again if probably at the Hard rock at the Universal studios Hotel.

We stayed in February for $145 a night! It was so loud though in the morning when all the doors were closing.. but we liked it.
Hey JoJo, fun idea for a series. I've never stayed at this resort but love the theming. The room is super nice, wow! Given most of your time is in the parks, the room gives you all you need. Yep, I always build in a resort day just to relax. Hahaha, I need to try that tumble to get into the pool - that was smooth! Man, the theming is wild at these resorts. I've walked around Art of Animation/Pop Century but never stayed there - are they on the list?
