"Beyond the wub" is one of Dick`s most superfluous stories:
somebody takes a big, sloppy animal on his spacecraft whilst heading home; this strange, pig-like animal suddenly starts to talk and reason when it overhears that the capitan wants it for his supper, it is showing off his philosophical knowledge, but being slaughtered and feasted upon anyway.
So what ?
