Steri-Fab Insecticide is a contact kill that should work on any insect you spray directly. While its not specifically labeled for bird mites, many customers do use it for this purpose. Be sure you have eliminated the nest the bird mites are coming from and cleaned all surfaces thoroughly.
We recommend that you use different sprayers for herbicides and insecticides, especially, since you would not want to have any herbicide residue inside your home. For outdoor applications, you can often use the same sprayer for multiple products if it is well maintained and cleaned. Be sure that you triple rinse your sprayer after each use and allow it to dry completely before storing. It is always a good idea to use a dedicated sprayer for non-selective herbicides such as glyphosate or anything that may be corrosive.
@@domyown thanks a ton for your response. Its outdoor only. Dismiss, Celcius, Prodiamine for herbacides. Eagle20 & Propoconozol for fungicides. Maybe Azoxystrobin for insecticides. These will be the only things going into the sprayer. Insecticides most likely will be granular for everything. Humics, Ferts, and Minerals too will also go in there.
@@webeducation With most applications, especially with a hand pump sprayer, 1 gallon of water covers 1,000 sq ft. However, ultimately the water is just a carrier, and you can use more water to treat 1,000 sq ft if needed. Just be sure that you are using the correct amount of product for the size area you are treating, so if you need to use 1 oz of product per 1,000 sq ft, that 1 oz of concentrate could be in 1 gallon of water, 2 gallons of water, etc., according to your spray equipment and your pace.
We actually do not carry any products labeled for scabies on surfaces. This is because scabies mites are usually passed from one person to another through skin-to-skin contact. We recommend steam cleaning or laundering any items that are concerning to you.
What about for bird mites?

You should be fine using these products in the same sprayer as long as you clean your sprayer properly between applications.
@@domyown Thanks again. One last question. Everything says 1 gallon per 1000 sq ft. Can I do 2 gal / 1000 sq ft instead?
