Yup Lauren just take your corners wide,funny at my acerage I'm always squeezing thru like my gate or between a tree and my fire pit never a problem always know where my airstream is but last week at a gas station pulling out I jumped the curb not seeing it or gauging properly.just ran over the curb but still gotta always take your time and check your mirrors. It's awsome hey lauren. Girls can hitch up and tow💯
Great job Lauren, it’s a lot easier than people think. The hardest thing to get used to is feeling the rig in the steering wheel and acceleration. Otherwise, it’s just driving. Park City is awesome, my parents have a place there and we love going in the summer to cool off from the AZ heat.

Great job 👏. You are correct that if something happens to the main driver of the rig you want to have your partner be confident to step in to get the job done ✅. My wife pulled our 21 foot trailer like a pro with our 2500 GMC. She needs to now pull our new 26 foot toy hauler. It is different than a regular travel trailer. We bought a new hitch. It is a 3P Propride hitch. Hopefully still this year. We have a seasonal site along with traveling which allows for flexibility in camping styles. One day would love to have an Airstream. Maybe one day. Stay safe you too!
Pat, I agree 100%. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to learn how to tow. You just never know! Also, we've heard a lot of great things about those Propride hitches. They seem to be the preferred hitch. Oh, and when you end up getting an Airstream one day be sure to let us know! I remember when my parents, sister and myself were moving from Northern California (Hamilton Air Force Base - North of San Francisco), we drove past the Great Salt Lake on the way to Denver, Colorado, where my dad trained with United Air Lines, at the Stapleton AIrport. That long ago. By the way, I love your 30 foot Classic and that color scheme, the white cabinets with light gray couch and dinette seating.
Hi, Susan! We actually did end up driving past the Salt Flats. Since we were there a year ago, and on the wrong side of the highway this time with the rig, we decided not to stop this time. BUT, it's definitely one of the coolest places on earth! So what did you think the first time you drive past it? We thought it looked like snow - which was crazy because of the heat. 🤣 L+D
I was a kid at the time, but facinated by the large lake and large piles of salt (that my mom pointed out), that came from the lake. Many years later (my sophmore year of High School) we went out to Salt Lake City and then up to Alta, stayed at the Rustler Lodge and went sking for a whole week. The Olympics in Innsbrook was going on that week too. I fell in love with SLC, Alta and decided to go to Utah State University in Logan, Utah. I never regretted that. Did get to visit various places like Arches and Canyonlands, Timponogos Cave, Park City, and did spend two quarters at the University of Utah, Jan - May 1980 (Bobby Brady went there at that time too). After college, I worked at Alta Utah, and my parents came out, we skiied at Alta and Deer Valley. I have visited Park CIty once on a ski trip. Still love Utah, so unique, best darn snow I ever skiied on.

He had to go to the hospital and his poor wife couldn’t drive the trailer. It was their last day at this RV site. But, the people who were running the camp site were so gracious and let her stay.
