I was in what seemed at the time a very long layover in the Chicago airport in 2009. This record was the soundtrack. It was a great time to have nothing to think about, other than time itself. I'm not in an airport now, but this record is still so important. Thank you, Tamas. What you have done with Thy Catafalque is absolutely unique, and it means a lot to many people.
I just discovered Thy Catafalque this year with Naïv... shame on me! I'm comming back in time listening all your albums one by one and I just wanted to say how much I love and respect all your work/music. You're making a fresh, personnal and very colored metal music, thank you for that. And now, I'm gonna read the lyrics to have a complete experience ;) Greetings from France!
If anyone wonders, here are some approximate translations of the titles: 00:00 Szervetlen - Inorganic 11:22 Molekuláris gépezetek - Molecular machineries 30:33 Köd utánam - Fog after me 36:03 Űrhajók Makón - Spaceships at Makó 40:28 Piroshátú - Red-backed 47:06 Esőlámpás - Rainlantern 51:24 Kabócák, bodobácsok - Cicadae, firebugs 57:53 Őszi varázslók - Autumn wizards 01:02:34 Fehér berek - White grove
Köd utánam - Fog follow me / Fog engulf me / Fog hide me / I leave only fog after me. To me this title has something in common with the Twin peaks song "Fire walk with me", which might even be intentional, hm? Somewhere in a comment I read someone referred to TC as "the David Lynch of metal" which makes even more sense this way.
Greetings from Greece! Listened to it back in 2009 and it changed forever the way I understand music. For me, one of my all-time favourite post-metal albums (although it is difficult to classify Thy Catafalque under a single genre ;) ).
Less than 2K subscriber for a genius like you . I read somewhere from another guy who said that you are the David Lynch in the metal music - I rather agree on that. Your music is a journey , fresh , ,thrilling , unique and talented.
A beautiful piece of art! I've been listening to extreme music for the past 30 years but no other band evokes emotions and memories like Thy Catafalque does. Meta -> Rengeteg -> Sgùrr -> Geometria -> Róka hasa rádió . Thank you so much Tamás and greetings from Bangkok!!
Woaw, I am listening your music since 3 years. One album by one, taking my time. Generaly listening the last release in loop. My prefered was Sgurr, but now it is him ! Every song is so well mixed and the synth is just perfect at every time. Sometimes it create an oppressive atmosphere and before suffocate he pull the head out of the water and be kind.
Thank you for not loading your video with commercials. Season of Mist did for their video of this band so I wont be back; the commercial loading shit needs to stop.
Fantasztikus album a Róka Hasa Rádió (is),Tamás. Nagy gratuláció a Geometria albumhoz is!Csodálatos lett! Mivel én is 1975-ös vagyok,előjött pár emlék...(tyerem,tyeremok...) :)

I've been wondering, is there a site that has the english translation of the lyrics? I've always wanted to know more specifics about the tracks aside from my own guesses.
I did this a few years ago for my own amusement (it doesn't scan too well unfortunately) : Spaceships in Makó Old town full of rattling poppy husk streets, wind fluting on its spires at night the chimneys round Graveyard Gardens are purring, the trees of Linden Street are fast asleep. Take a brolly if you're going to Gardener Street, Deep down Ice Street the quinces will bounce, Falling, falling, they'll turn into jam tonight Amber, amber, amber like the Moon. My spaceship got lost somewhere on Planet Street, in fair October of eighty-three, I missed the spacecraft navigation lights from Star Street to Moon Street all along the way.

The lyrics are also very personal. Especially on this album which is declared full of nostalgia and chidlhood memories.
Thy Catafalque is like a glass of fresh, cold water after wandering the Sahara for days...
