For $11 a month, im happy remaining a TH-cam Premium Member and watching the Highlights. (Which, btw, go for roughly 20mins. The same time the ball is in play in a regular game). The NFL will understand soon enough that viewership is down and that fans arent interested in funding greedy corporations anymore...
Another reason for a Christmas game; you're stuck in a house with a bunch of people you don't really like to begin with, so an NFL game gives everyone focus, that way, except for your drunk uncle nobody's stirring shit.
Just do what i do. Wait like 30 mins till after the game and catch the highlight reels on youtube. Avoid any info on them till they are over. But the highlight reels are like 10-20 mins and just as entertaining imo
That's what I do for Hockey and Baseball....once I got out of High School and College the time to watch 162 and 82 games just went away in the working world. I don't know how people do it. Football is so much easier to keep up with, 17 Game schedule and 1 game play offs, I'm good 👍
Once every pro sport stared posting highlights almost immediately after a game ended, I stopped waching any sport start to finish. Why sit around watching a game for 3hrs when I can get the entire game in a 10-20mins, ad-free. Hell I can watch the highlights for every game that week in the time I'd spend watching one game.
The issue I have is the highlights don't really put the game in its proper context sometimes( tht falls on whoever is editing it) and then we callout analysts for not watching the games when we don't watch the games either lol
@@EagleFly360 youre right on the money. It’s a trade off. You can follow more games, and the entirety of a league and have decently informed general opinions when you watch the highlights. But when you get into the weeds about a specific team or topic you will likely have missed most of the context needed to form those kinds of opinions. At this rate, they’re gonna have games only on PPV. You get the feeling that the NFL is pricing out the poor/middle class, loyal traditional fans (with whom they need to pay for their eyesores in new stadiums that will become obsolete in 20-30 years and try to bleed them out even more) to make way for the upper middle/obscenely wealthy people who watch the games for the clicks on social media, or throw these parties to post on IG or whatever to show that they’re “big fans”, when a lot of them don’t know the difference between a touchdown and a touch back. The NFL already done so with live games at the stadiums making it too expensive for the average Joe and Jane to attend. As time has marched on, I find myself caring about the NFL less and less (and I grew up in an NFL family) and going to channels such as Perna, Tree, etc for better entertainment. I appreciate your guys’ channels and never stop with the excellent work you guys do.
Lol they are changing the actual rules of the game to cater to the casuals/influencers and away from what the hardcore fans enjoy about football. All offense, no tackling, no hard hits, no special teams
I just pay $10 a month for NFL+ and get all the prime time games + the local network games 🤷 Yeah it's mobile only, but a USB C to HDMI cable to connect to your TV ain't expensive
honstly suprised people don't bring this up. They even include most of the "platform exclusive" games too. Its likely all you'll ever need even for out of market fans who can pay the slightly more expensive option and unlock redzone. (p.s. buy the per season option, not the monthly option, its much cheaper. pretty sure its $45 right now)
The NFL is just a symptom of the problem. Streaming services are becoming the new TV, the only problem is that each streaming service has its own exclusive content and deals with sports leagues. Instead of just buying 1 big cable package to watch all of your shows, depending on what you like to watch, you might be spending a lot more to purchase each streaming service to watch all of your shows (unless the services are bundled.) It eventually feels like you are paying for each separate channel.
They're more than likely gonna reduce the price, not increase it. Even if they do, comparing it to cable is just wrong to me considering the amount of content that these services/bundles offer.
My partner and I stopped paying for cable about two years ago. We no longer watch the NFL (can't get reception for the local airings here in the mountains without a ridiculous antenna set up) and we keep up with our team by watching you and Tom Grossi.
Fkk that. Pay $100 a year for a VPN, $90 a year for international gamepass. Then trick the internet you’re in Argentina and watch every single game all year
Anyone remember the short-lived ability to pay the NFL to watch only your team (online) but the game was not available to watch until after midnight Monday morning avoiding social media and the radio all day, so you don’t hear the scores?
Obviously Perna, with all his streaming services, missed out on everything Butker said in his commencement speech AT A CATHOLIC COLLEGE. Must only watch The View. Butker never said the women in the graduating class shouldn't have a career but extolled those who also want to have a family and dedicate themselves to that.

When I was broke af and worked the restaurant life I used the NFL Weekly Highlights for each game as me “watching the game” for two seasons and tbh I was better informed those two seasons more than current day. It shows you every significant offensive play and defensive play for each team so essentially any play that matters. And honestly it worked extremely well because I didn’t get any fluff of the game or commercials lol and it was free! it’s seriously not a bad set up!

It is the only way. We can get frustrated and complain about other things too.
On one hand, being in Canada I get all the football games on DAZN for 25$ a month, but on the other hand, I live in Canada.
And you also have to use DAZN which is a piece of streaming crap
Same as for us europeans
I wonder if us in the states can use a vpn or something like that to be able to pay what you pay
DO WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE!
Netflix is also getting WWE Monday Night Raw in 2025.
It’s not better or worse either way, you choose your own adventure.
I do this too. The problem is the NFL will no doubt crack down on this an add a pay wall.
It all started going downhill when MNF moved to ESPN. Then TNF on NFL Network 😡
Can't afford it. Just have to watch Perna and other youtubers call the plays during the games.
Orrrrr pirate it???
Butker saying Catholic things at a Catholic school is just wild. Never would have expected it.
Then why did the catholic school rebuke what he said
He’s going woke too!😢
@@daveeyde9622probably because of threats from lunatics. We have a very vocal and unstable minority of leftists here in America that have been ruining just about everything they touch.
They have infiltrated not only academia but corporate America and have used powerful companies like Blackrock to push degeneracy.
Stopped watching the NFL some years ago. This channel and a few others are about as close as I get to a live game.
Same lol
Yup - barely even watch it when it’s on free tv so definitely won’t be paying someone for it.
Why wouldn’t you just stream it for free? 😂
@@PAPABRAY619 Watch the woke NFL, yeah going to set aside time for that.
@@dhollongstreet4725 And there it is.
That AI Titan's fan only had one foot with two legs coming out of it!
In other words we're paying for cable again.
How is is like cable?
Premium Cable
Arrrr! We sail the high seas this season!
Me who uses free streaming sites 😤
Squaaaaaad
The clickbait members doing game commentary on their respective streams > watching the games on TV
Amen!
Literally got a BK ad on this vid
Not the same as watching but I have been listening to all sports on the radio and while it is not the same as watching I am enjoying it
"Like I would sell you a bag of shit. I tried, TH-cam won't let me" 😂😂😂😂 that's had me rolling when I heard it
Anytime I see a good sports video I click keep up the great work Perna
That final joke about subscribing was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. Thanks for the laugh.
I just pay $10 a month for NFL+ and get all the prime time games + the local network games 🤷
Yeah it's mobile only, but a USB C to HDMI cable to connect to your TV ain't expensive
Smart. Wish more people did this
no tv app yet?
honstly suprised people don't bring this up. They even include most of the "platform exclusive" games too. Its likely all you'll ever need even for out of market fans who can pay the slightly more expensive option and unlock redzone.
(p.s. buy the per season option, not the monthly option, its much cheaper. pretty sure its $45 right now)
You can watch it on PC, I did it last year and will do it again. I have my PC connected to my big screen via hdmi, works great
They have a tv app that will show redzone only not the games those have to be on the app on a tablet or phone.@otaviofrn_adv
This would have been the perfect episode to have a VPN sponsor for. Be sure to sail safely out there.
Don't. They have nothing you need.
My partner and I stopped paying for cable about two years ago. We no longer watch the NFL (can't get reception for the local airings here in the mountains without a ridiculous antenna set up) and we keep up with our team by watching you and Tom Grossi.
0:58 Sometimes Brandon cant help but remind us hes a bit godless lol
Fkk that. Pay $100 a year for a VPN, $90 a year for international gamepass. Then trick the internet you’re in Argentina and watch every single game all year
"weird bullshit" being "have a family and be happy"
Who's in a "happy" family these days? Even the royals are fkd up.
no the wierd bullshit was that women should give up their ambitions and dreams to be mothers cause god wants them to and that pride month is a sin
Brandon “I wrote the subscriptions off as work in my tax return” Perna
Why did I fall for the continue watching
Anyone remember the short-lived ability to pay the NFL to watch only your team (online) but the game was not available to watch until after midnight Monday morning avoiding social media and the radio all day, so you don’t hear the scores?
not legally
To be fair my exact reaction to the coffee was “Wow this is actually pretty good” So yeah
He's a liberal atheist, what did u expect?
@@abolishthe19thamendment no he is not i bet that is his youtube public stance so he wont have to deal with all these idiots and the backlash . if he did not make his living on yt he would not give a shit about what butker had to say.
Just move to Canada we get them all on DAZN
it’s no coincidence Butker is current top selling jersey, if his views and comments were bs i don’t think this would be the case

Pernas wife looks happy being a wife and mother, but can't say that out loud, he gotta stay tribal for the crazies😂
this is the one reason i like being an international fan. you get games pass and you get absolutely everything.
Brandon "I only read headlines about Butker's speech" Perna
Nazi detected
I support 100% of Butker's comments.
He said exactly nothing wrong.
Don’t have time to watch every game but just enough time to hear Brandon Perna talk about it.
Everyone saying theyre pirates now.. Id love for you to show me a site that doesnt lag every 3 seconds and have 700 popups. And that "Are you still watching" gag was funny
Dofu sports. Now shut up.
Probably depends on where you live/how strong your internet is. I haven't had any problems like that in years, but I assume it will be worse this year with more people pirating because of this.
for the pop ups, uBlock origin is the solution
Bro stop being lazy. I haven’t missed a game or fight I wanna watch in over 20 years. There are plenty of options 😂
Figure it out yourself
When I was broke af and worked the restaurant life I used the NFL Weekly Highlights for each game as me “watching the game” for two seasons and tbh I was better informed those two seasons more than current day. It shows you every significant offensive play and defensive play for each team so essentially any play that matters. And honestly it worked extremely well because I didn’t get any fluff of the game or commercials lol and it was free! it’s seriously not a bad set up!
Harrison Butker is 100% RIGHT
