Wonderful! I have learned that by meditating I can be more conscious and this helps me to “ catch “ cords of people that consciously or unconsciously may be cord to me. I also pray and that is another great tool. Nothing more healthy for the spirit than not to be cord.

The Cord-cutting is to cut negative attachments... Not necessarily the person out of your life unless that's what you want. It's a clearing of negativity...unhealthy aspects Hope you've found a way to clear the unhealthy

I had a best friend who became a narcissist and she cut me out of her life as she was pregnant. She was very judgy of me and my mom life. I really wanted to get to know her as a mom and see how she’s grown as a person because we had such a great history and so many joyful times. I’ve grown a lot too but for some reason I can’t get this girl out of my head and wanting to be her friend again even though I know she caused me lots of pain. Maybe we’ve both grown more mature and our friendship could work or maybe she’s still a narcissist. Maybe I need to cut the cord there. I think she cut her cord with me but I didn’t cut my cord with her. Thanks for the info.
I had a friend at work which was an older lady and we always got along great. Well, I was young and got pregnant with my second child and started to get a few hot flashes which I didn't have with my first child. That lady's and my friendship got very strained on my part. She was on my nerves so bad and I tried to tell myself it was ridiculous of me but it grew WORSE. I couldn't stand being around her.
