An antenna is super cheap. Good to have in case of an emergency. Whether it be weather related or something else. Never know when you might need to tune in the radio!
That was an awesome addition! I was at Walmart and saw a marine stereo on clearance for 40 dollars I almost picked it up but then I realized I still have to pick up aluminum and plywood lol!
Thinking about doing this on my Really big tin boat. Dumb question about power.... Maybe I missed it in this vid but is the stereo rtc run off the same battery as the trolling motor? I'm curious about jow much drainage of the battery this causes?
@@TinyBoatNation thanks for the reply. Having the stereo /speakers etc on a deep cycle battery for instance, is there much drain or good for a while at a time..... Just curious if one would need a charger or trickle charger nearby on hand after every trip out.
I’m hoping someone can answer me this. How many hours of play time will I get off a used truck battery ? I don’t want 2 deep cells in my boat with all my gear. Looking to tuck a spare battery into my newly made compartment with a charging point. It will everything is super clean on my boat so I like things looking as if it was meant to be. My thing is, I’m better off getting a portable one if it can’t do 6 hours. I just always forget to bring one lmao!
Love the speaker build. I'm looking to make my first tiny boat. In your profession opinion is a 14 ft sea king a good enough boat to do a build on and be stable enough for two people? Thank you and love the channel!
You could have wired up both front and rear channels to each speaker. So left front and left rear to left speaker, and same for the right side. Then youd have all the channels and music will sound better with only two speakers. The blue wire is a remote turn on wire for an amplifier. It signals the amp to turn on.
Hey I have a 14 ft valco in Carlsbad California. It had some rivet leaks. Good project boat and I will sell it for $100. If anyone interested let me know otherwise I need to dispose of it. Hope it gets a good home.
Always helpful videos with all the information I was looking for. Thank you for this post.
Nice work! Nice seeing someone taking the time to do things right! Looks great!
For this video no matter how old it is I could kiss you! 😂😂 saved me hours of playing around with wiring (safely) thank you so much!

Love your CONTENT 👌🏿🔥 YOU definitely helped me with my build.
You should add a ram mount so the power drive shaft doesn't shake bad while driving

its Stereo* My man but great video! love watching all of them!
Could have used ant wire to power the led on speakers
Yellow is 12v Constant
Red is accessory(key) switch wire

You can't bridge a built in stereo amp.
