Many of you asked me for a new John Murphy video. Hope you'll love this one. It's my 4th video about him and still.. i'm so inspired.
Season 7 is coming soon and i'm getting more and more excited about it.

He proved himself to good multiple times saved Bellamy in season 2 and they repaid him by treating him like shit and trying to blame Finn's murder spree on him, saved Bellamy, Clarke and multiple others, helping them defeat ALIE in season 3 and they repaid him by trying to kill Emori and him. Come to think of it they pushed him to they edge and left him alone to fend for himself and then blamed him for surviving. I mean all he wanted was to be treated better and none of them did. I think it's unfair to expect someone you have constantly shunned to do things that favor you and not them. Murphy did what any person who is left to fend of his/herself will do that is put himself first, survive and care about only himself (cause no one else does).

I cried a little, when I saw the 100 for the first time I never tought that I would care about Murphy and how important to he's became for the series and others characters
This is absolutely beautiful. John is one of my favorite characters in the show bc i think he is the most relatable to its audience. He often times thinks the most rationally and does what most of us would do in his shoes. And one of my favorite scenes is when clarke tells him she proud. It was just astonishing and made me realize his character development over the course of the show.

During the red moon everyone goes crazy trying to hurt people, but not him. He just tries to save everyone...

I’ve never hated Murphy because I saw the good in him from the beginning
I started the show thinking "i'm gonna hate Murphy, what a jerk!", and this edit is a great example of why i changed my read of him and why people should give the 100 a chance- it's a really complex show. Murphy, who you're told 'bad guy! don't trust him!' in the very first episode turns out to not actually be such a bad guy. It's not that he's hot, or that he always makes good choices, it's the show trying to let us know we should give people the benefit of a doubt and try to see where they're coming from.
(sidenote: this doesn't mean you should let people abuse you. if someone does something terrible, yes, they're sympathetic, but it doesn't mean they get to keep doing it to you over & over even if you get their reasons for doing it. I think Murphy the character driven by Harmon's performance teaches the viewer 'try to be gentle', with the understanding that there are people out there who see kindness as potential prey)
