You just know that you've got an insane collection when there's certain items and figures that haven't moved an inch on display since at least 2022. Again man: what you got there is such an amazing and most enviable collections out there and since you've constantly been adding new MIB stuff it just progressively got crazier and crazier! Love all of it and I really do hope that you'll reach the 10k subs as soon as possible🍷👊
How did your parents react when you got the gifts but never took them out of the box? Did they just thinkbit was a waste of money since you didnt play with them?
We were already on the site JPtoys by that time, so they knew we viewed it as collecting. That said, we still opened most things back then, the red rex was a gift from my dad when I was much older, and the thrasher I opened (sort of timed the video wrong when I talked about it). So yeah, the majority we still opened because we played with them, and we were really into making dioramas and writing stories to go along the pictures of the dioramas. Even had an old model train board that we converted into our own “Jurassic Park board,” where we’d play with them. Many of our in box figures are from the past 4-5 years.
Amazing collection! I think my favorite figures would be the Series 1 Velociraptor and Pteranodon. I have a very cherished memory of getting them and playing with them in my dad's truck while he and I waited to pick up an order from Pizza Hut on a very rainy day.
Thanks for sharing! It’s interesting how we remember specific things like that from when we were younger, have some memories associated with some of the ones I played with too.
My favourite toy was TLW thrasher trex because it was something one of my older cousins gave me in China and was my first jurassic toy! ❤ but as of now I definitely resonate with the hammond collection dilo + Steven Spielberg set as its one of the few toys that actually pays homage and recognises how much technical prowess went into creating the ground-breaking first jurassic film.
My favourite is the TLW bull T-rex. Back in 2014 when I started collecting the vintage JP toys, I always wanted the bull T-rex. I was 15 at the time I don’t have my own money to buy him myself, it took so much begging for my mum to finally buy one for me. It felt surreal to finally have one in my hands. He still is very special to me and always be the star of my collection. I stopped collecting vintage JP toys for a long time since JW came out and being focused on collecting those and then Mattel’s lines, I’ve only just recently gotten back into it, buying several toys already lol. I now have my eyes set on the Gallimimus being the next, more expensive toy to get.

Man! Your Jp collection is most impressive! I'm really jealous to see you have the TLW series 2 Nick van Owen and the TLW exclusive young tyrannosaurus set. I'm a collector of loose Kenner stuff and I'm still looking for those two loose. The problem is that i can’t find them complete anywere! Fortunately, the thrill of 'wanting' something, sometimes feels better to me than 'having' something - as weird as that sounds. My personal favorite piece from my own collection is actually a custom one. It’s a Kenner style John Hammond figure made by ''Ape drape Studio''. If I place that figure in front of the Mattel Brachiosaurus, it truly is a childhood dream come true! I hope you hit the 10K subscribers soon! You and your awesome content deserve it!

7:52 Okay, Challenge Accepted. After watching the video for a total of 5 times. I've counted (Possibly) 19 Cyclops Raptors in the video. (5:11) kicking off with the 99 repaint in box. (7:52) with two loose 97 figures. (17:28) One loose 97 Raptor. Now (18:34) I couldn't confirm if there was a second In box Cyclops so I'll safely say there's one. Totaling everything at "5" Cyclops raptors (Including variants). (19:51) on the shelf has a total of 2 97 cyclops with one 2001 JP3 Variant and one 2004 Dinosaurs Variant. (19:56) has a total of 4 cyclops 97 raptors, one JP3 Variant and one 99 Dinosaurs variant. (21:48) is the only 97 variant on the shelf. And (22:56) has a total of 2 Inbox 97 cyclops raptors. I specifically chose this time stamp because you can tell the tails are exactly the same, As well as one in box 2004 Variant. And since I don't think this counts and I'll mention it just for kicks you do own a Night Hunters Cyclops (Via the promo images of the canceled Night Hunters series in the 1999 Hasbro/Kenner Booklet) Totaling: 19. Which should be (13) 97 Cyclops Raptors, (2) 1999 Variants (2) 2004 Variants and (2) JP3 2001 Variants. (All in box and loose). I'm no James A Janiese, so if I missed one I shall happily raise my white flag. But so far with all the ones I've counted in this video and also there the one at (18:34) I want to play it safe. I'm positive with my final answer.
Dude you are spot on lol We have a spreadsheet for the entire collection, had to double check the repaints because I didn’t even consider them, but you got those right too. That was some dedication lol great job.
@@jurassicreviewschannel well that narrows down my options lol. I was gonna suggest the 2013 Hasbro gems, Rest In Peace that short lived line. But one TLW dinosaurs that I would love to see you cover is the Parasaurolophus. It was one of my first Kenner figures and my introduction to the Kenner line.
