Grizedale Whyte, E 160 RSX 750wh battery comparing capacity to my old 625wh bike 09/06/24 # 756

After discovering my new Whyte 750 wh Bosch gen 4 smart system bike battery seems to drop percentage quite a bit quicker than my old gen 4 non smart system bike I've been comparing the drop by starting my ride with a power mode of eco at the foot of ferry hill (steep hill locally to me ) the new bike has no customisation of the power modes meaning its running stock assistance with no + on any mode, the 750wh battery drops quicker than a 3.5 year old 625 wh. anyone else had similar issues , I can get up ferry hill in eco with 100% remaining on the 625wh and 98% on very cold winter days the new 750 wh i drop to 97% on warmish days, it then also drops faster to known points on duplicate rides
