This is spot on. I've been in LA for a year and a half and it's very exciting there's always something to do but it can be so overwhelming. Just walking down the street something can happen out of nowhere. I travel a lot and when I'm in other cities I really realize how on guard I am I guess when I'm in LA. I experienced loss for first time last year too with my grandpa passing and then six month later my other grandpa passed as well.
