Hi great video!! I follow the step, but I'm stuck uploading the GIF into steam. Max size 8MB for upload, but my GIF size only 6-7MB. any idea how to fix it?
For all those who are not able to do it properly or missing steps or having issue, This is how i did: 1. i chose the 600-sample version which is good enough for your workshop. You first put the sample in photoshop and then put the video on the sample as shown in the video. Also you can choose the video length upto 20 seconds since mine was 16 sec, so those who are saying that we need 15 sec, it isnt compulsory. All you need is to render each gif to 5mb 2. After that you have to overlay the video on sample, I wasnt able to do it using the shortcut, so what i pressed is alt-right together and it will show an icon to overlay it on the sample, so then you have to left click after the icon show to move the video on the sample. 3. after you overlay the video, you will see lines on the video and then you have to press the crop button on the left side bar menu/options, after that you have to crop each box. (The width and height of my video was 150 and 600). you can go little bit low and high but not too much because it would look ugly when you put it on workshop. 4. The first time you crop the box of your preference, you click enter to erase video and keep the crop image only, after that go on the file/export/save for web and then and exporting menu would come out. Here is what is important. To keep your images in good quality but less Size, you have to first see how much the app is rendering the images, because most of the time you would get images above 5mb which you wont be able to post on workshop. Even if you go for resizing the gifs online, it would be fked up since i tried resizing the gifs and when i posted it, most of them were smaller in size compared to what you wanted to post with uneven size. 5. Under the image, the size of the gif is written, all you have to do is save the gif under 5 mb, if its already under 5 mb, then just save it according to your size and color options to 256 bit. IF not then all you have do is change the option from ADAPTIVE to SELECTIVE and Decrease the Colors from 256 bit until it gif doesnt come under 5 mb. Then you have to save the gif and keep in mind that the length of the gif should be equal in every image. Repeat the step with every crop images, if are unable to get back to whole video, first click on the black side around your gif and then press ctrl+z to get back to whole gif again 6. after that Follow the steps on 3:50 and change the number to 21 no matter what error it shows. Then save those files. 7. follow the step on 4:35 . For all those who are saying that after pressing f12, no option shows. The option would show after you agree to open dev tools. And option would pop up after pressing f12 to agree if you want to use dev tools or not, after you agree the elements would open and then an arrow would appear, click on it and console and other options would appear, click on console options and then copy paste the command and press enter as shown in the video and is in the description. 8. after you press enter, just save the the gif and wait for it to load, it may take time. mine took 1 min to upload. Repeat the uploading steps with every gif. 9. After you upload every gif, just go to your profile and upload every gif in workshop showcase, and not artwork showcase, and then save it. There you go, your animated gif is uploaded. PS:- Sorry for bad english, i m not good in speaking english, hope i was able to help 😊

Edit: sh1t, dude, I forgot to use the ones that I downloaded from the Hex page instead of the previous ones, now they appear without those black bars. Make sure you didn't selected the wrong gifs. I hope this is the problem and not something else. Don't make the same mistake 😿
Hey this helped me a lot but I accidently upload the same image like 2 times & when I click on submissions to delete them, they don't show up. They are invisible 😅😅
can you delete workshop items after you upload them? My showcase works perfect, but I want to delete some older versions that Im not using any more. I know they get a little glitched out but even those arent showing up anywhere.

@@riftu i know what is problem. since our great dude is using ruski language ur getting lost in half way where he forgets to say the main part. in photoshop when ur saving file for web theres a option under the right side for looping put that option on forever it's once by default. thanks god i was using photoshop before. riftu bro thanks for this great tutorial but i mainly recommend using english language in everything so people understand what they do.

Всё я нашел ответ. Там нужно снизу выбрать "постоянно" где написано параметры повторов (в меню "сохранить для web")
