    Very intrigue of this simple concept!! Unfortunately for me, a To-Do list paper is not a good investment right now. But I will definitely go back to check this out in a few years, as the system seems so pleasant. I love the filming & editing of the video, by the way.

    For me the Bullet Journaling is more practical to use and thr system for todo is almost the same but it gives me much more. I can recommend thr Bullet Journal system to everyone that likes to integrate digital/analog.

    I went down the same rabbit hole trying to design a minimalist to-do list system, but the hangup with paper is always reordering (i.e. you can’t add something to the middle of the list without rewriting it). I tried cutting my to-do’s into 1” strips, but then it’s just messy. Probably the ideal would be some kind of e-ink notecard where you could drag-and-drop to reorder tasks. But until then, well done on the notecard design!

    • @ugmonkstudio
      @ugmonkstudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Thanks! Yeah, I agree. There are obvious limitations of paper like not being able to easily reorganize, but I've found that rewriting my cards actually helps me to continue reprioritizing vs. just carrying over things without thinking about it. Digital is great for capturing when I'm on the go though.

      @@lucasgiovannifarina358 Yea, I tried the Boox Air 2 a few months ago, which is similar, but realized a tablet is a bit clunky for managing a to-do list. Have a Highsense e ink phone on the way, and it'll be interesting to see how it works.

I just want to use the cards by themselves to keep up with daily task and nothing else. I don’t want anything to do with digital tools. Does that work to? Works great if your life is so simple you can fit everything on three cards. I appreciate prioritizing Today on one card. But if you have 50+ projects all moving forward in parallel- it does not fit on one “Next” card. The “Someday” card is even worse, with all of the unfunded or unstaffed projects (each of which have multiple next actions) that would struggle to fit on a dozen+ of your Someday cards. I am envious - wish my life could fit on 3 cards; I estimate I’d need 100+ cards based upon my JIRA boards. Nice idea but not scalable for real life outside your marketing world.

I want to keep everything strictly offline and ONLY use the cards to help me with my daily task. Only the cards and nothing else at all. Does analog work this way?
