404.zero Presents: Patch Notes

- On their debut album, 404.0, Kristina Karpysheva and Alexander Letsius channel a wide array of influences as diverse as Autechre, Tangerine Dream and Sunn O))) as they move through eight meditative compositions that touch on cosmic drone, ink-dark ambient and searing industrial.
In this very special episode of Patch Notes the Russian duo deliver a stunning modular synth showcase live from Saint Petersburg’s Sevkabel Port. Using a unique setup, which includes a LYRA-8 organismic analogue synthesiser from Soma Laboratory, a variety of Eurorack modules, a Buchla 223e Multi-Dimensional Kinesthetic Input and Tactile Input Port and an electronic cello, 404.zero give us an introduction to their cathartic sound.
Earlier this year 404.zero released Black Sunday, an audiovisual EP that served as prelude to 404.0, their debut album and first release for Bedroom Community. Both releases were recorded during improvised sessions at Greenhouse Studio in Reykjavik, at which they found an essential retreat from the stresses of Saint Petersburg. - เพลง
Art is about being yourself and express it! These guys are transposing that! It is unique the way they do it, not really copying other techno, industrial ... kind of stuff
So If it is not your stuff, no need to be rough with them, they don’t deserve your frustration and nasty words. 🤙✨
PREACH 🙌🏽
This is a desert fever-dream of a soundtrack and I'm here for it.
HS8's getting a serious workout at 2:12
lol
I wonder how long they last
I've just discovered your music by accident. It's amazing and inspiring. You've got a new fan. Keep it coming.
her face expression is quite intimidating up until the point when she cracks open a smile. these two must be soulmates.
FACT MAG Please provide waist height tables for the performers.
Gorgeous. Love these classic west coast feels. Thank you, much love
Love it. Great aesthetic, and a gorgeous soundscape sitting atop a bed of noise. Really enjoyed that.
I'm digging this series! Keep em comming!
This was great! Talk about in the Zone. Nice tones, Textures and landscapes!
Mesmerizing and hypnotic, even through the screen
I can’t tell if I’m watching modular synthesis or a bomb disarming
that was absolutely beautiful!
cheers for the amazing vibes guys!
:D
Different approaches on making music, lovely to listen and watch something like this being created live. This was beautiful and yet, I can see a few people in the comments don't even bother to respect other artists and their performances.
Fact should disable comments, for real. This duo don't deserve the toxic comments.
Love it!
I wish this performance would go on for 2 hours
Shouldn't this be titled Patch Notes Presents: 404.Zero
These gal and guy are so good, they present the channel. *Chuck Norris left the chat*

Simply Magical! ... also I can't wait to get my Dvina . . the waiting list is so long
This is phenomenal...thank you ...This is what I need to be doing...because this is the only way I’m capable of feeling any connection with anything...music...sounds...particularly these kinds of sounds where I my vision of everything is portrayed through sounds my soul is put into sounds ......I don’t know if There is something wrong with me or if you can relate but music when I listen to it or create it can put me into an extatic state of just streaming tears not so much crying if that makes sense just intense flow of tears and ecstasy...if I don’t begin do this on a consistent basis i will die unfinished incomplete..I would like to learn how to do patch notes or what do I need?
That was sick!
Great
браво!

@@josephkamaru523 I'm at the point where I'll order anything these guys make. Such a quality company... ploughing along in their own direction.
I bought my Lyra 2 years ago. Its possibilities are so vast. I do not regret my purchase. Buy once, cry once.
@@josefk5659 Lol - My grandad used to say “Buy cheap, pay twice”. Same, same but different.
👽👽👽❤❤❤
Eeeeeeeriie. Me likey. Might have to sample

I love u what ur doing 😍
what is the mark of this cello?
what is that tape loop effect?
It's a hiwatt cte-2000c tape echo
Reminds me more of early TG rather than Tangerine Dream or Ae, which is great.
Cheveux blip big sky cheveux blip big sky cheveux... shhhhhhhhhhhh
Steht da ne echolette auf dem Tisch?
Извиняюсь, это они настраивали одну колонку?
What is that string instrument?
Dvina by soma labs
What kind of oil or fluid instrument it is???
It's tape not fluid
Is that a Lyra-8?!? 🤤
yes, as mentioned in the discription.
@@sohndervenus lol
this is how Throbbing Gristle started, Cabaret Voltaire, and industrial music was founded, this is what I love to do, when I can afford to buy myself some good synthesizers ! love this 👌👌💕💕😍😍🪄🪄
what a string instrument?
This sound is sponsored by pantene
They are far too bubbly to be Russian. Not to mention the bright colors they are wearing. 80s flashback.
wind was blowing too damn strong, could not hear the music
Uhm.....ok.
are they really need that tape delay, modular synth and stupid strained gaze to do random stuff like this? xd
This is butchering of human brain
And i love it
oh fact, will you ever dance again
WTF?
сатану призываете?
White people are cool
unique indeed ;-)
hahahahaah
NOPE
Seems like a lot of effort to me
Only if you don't enjoy it
The fact that the torture i haved endured while watching this video was self inflected annoys me more than the video itself
this is just random noise, nothing artistic.
?!
it is, i really love power electronic and noise music, but in this genres, there are a lot of just random trash noise, from modular lovers(
So I guess you were a guest on Patch Notes too and performed better music... because otherwise your comment would be very pretentious.
@@iskra4420 gotta agree. tho I fully support the work like in this video.
