The army being briefed on what Naruto running is. That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
As a vetran myself, I can assure you, that is not the dumbest thing the army briefed it's people on that year.
For real, surprising that more people didnt do something stupid. Minus the lady that got the trespassing charge.
I think the reason why we don't really get videos in the IH channel because internet historian is waiting for certain events to pass a certains number of years to be added to the history of the internet hence the channel
He did 2 Covid videos back to back within less than a year of the lockdowns.
plus these videos take an insane amount of editing to make. I think he is more interested in making a big legacy on youtube and not watering that down with videos that might be sub par

This video and the whole area 51 thing reminded me of a story I read on a certain imageboard.
An American soldier was tasked with providing security observation at a nuclear missile site somewhere in the pacific north west when a convoy of hippies roll up. They start doing speeches about the evils of nuclear weapons and such things right in front of a wire fence gate on a path leading to one of the silos.
So he calls it in and asks for permission to do a warning shot with his sniper rifle and gets told to hang tight and continue observing.
He's getting a bit annoyed as he watches these people breaking out bolt cutters and drag chains to breach the gate. He calls it in again when they start trying, and failing, to cut the lock off the gate, and again being told to continue observing.
The "activists" then rip the gate off using a pickup truck, and proceed to take sledgehammers, pickaxes and spray cans to the massive concrete cover of the silo.
The soldier is of course relaying all of this to his commanders who tell him to just watch and enjoy.
At which point multiple soldiers rush up in humvees, guns very much loaded and ready to party, yelling ensues and the hippies surrender and get arrested.
Turns out the base commanders had known that this group was planning this action for ages because they posted it on their social media and decided to let them vandalize the silo cover so that they could take them to court for damages, basically getting hundreds of thousands of dollars levied as fines for the superficial damage to the silo cover and to replace their fence gate.
I can't remember exactly what the repercussions were, but they were super harsh since it basically counted as attempted terrorism and a conspiracy to attack strategic assets of the U.S.
And since it was an organization that did this they closed it down and could prosecute a lot of their members for the slightest interaction with the people who actually carried out the raid.
I really don't understand how people can rationalize the idea of attempting to gain entry to a strategic military installation, especially after 9/11, that just seems like suicide or crippling your chances at having a normal life when you're suddenly on a watch list and no fly list.
A lot of January 6th rioters figured out the hard way you can't just storm a government building then go home to a normal life after with no consequences.

IH is a Legend. I watched it like 5 times while playing. watching other people react, and it still crack me a smile.
Mr. Break into the airport, drive around the runways, swerve in-between planes, steal a plane, and fly it into area 51 has played too much GTA V. I've literally done that exact thing to break into the military base in the game.
I've watched this video about 3 or 4 times already and I only now just realized, Area 51 is located in Eastern Europe according to the Area 51 Raid intro 🤣

I got pulled over for ‘not having my driving lights on’. Didn’t receive a ticket and when the officer told me when my driving lights were on I know they were not but still drove off all the same. They pulled me over to see if I was sober and made a BS reason to justify themselves.

As a vet myself, man, this is just too good. A bored guy decides to get all the young people around the u.s. which is a lot more than i thought it would be out of boredom to agree to attack the u.s. military. You seriously can't make this stuff up. And the u.s. government puts every recourse into trying to figure out what to do. Until bud light becouse why not decides to sponsor the attack. Oh sorry "attack". Then, the attack turns into a bunch of young people meeting and bonding with soldiers.this is the dumbest ideal that turned into the most positive thing. How was every recruiter in the u.s. not just outside that fence going "sure young people you can meet aliens just sign here". I mean, the army got me with promises of no rent . But all they literally had to do was show up and say "sure aliens whatever man we got them sign here." This is probably the only time that the u.s. military has had that much exposure to young people in a positive way that wasn't a forced meeting at the local high school gym with them bored out of their minds. You know every branch is kicking themselves going. "we could have jumped on this and got so many signatures"
