I noticed when you put that metal seat or shelf inside the bottom of the BBQ grill. It's one of life's little pleasures when something perfectly fit where we think it might. For some reason that is so satisfying. It's the little victories that helps make our days just a little brighter.👌
Thank you for thanking that vet for his service. My dad is a Vietnam Vet and it means a lot to him when people say thank you. They didn't get the same support I always enjoyed when in service.
I was really blessed to hang out with you today. I have been fighting the “ick” for 3 weeks. I love it when you pray for us and yourself and thank God for his generosity. I was an antique “picker” for 40 years along with my beautiful wife. Now I do good to pick up my socks. I especially enjoy it when you shared your Pastor with us and had him pray for us. We are in California and church has been off and on for a while here. God Bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and give you his peace.

When you brought up the red Betty Crocker cookbook, I had to smile. When my wife and I got married, part of the wedding present from my parents was that very cookbook. On Sunday Nov. 15th (this year), we celebrated our 45th anniversary. My parents have passed on but my wife and I are still together and we still have that cookbook, a little charred after a house fire but still readable. Thanks for the smile Paul.
Beatle4 - my wife and I have that same cookbook, it was her Mom's. We had our 51st this year in July. Nice to see that some of us work on staying married, in this age of marriage for convenience or no marriage at all, just shacking up!

Hi Paul, long time viewer here, love the channel!!! If you are really serious about resell when you get a new truck, I suggest you also acquire a pure sine inverter which will allow you to test electrical appliances right on the street so you do not need to travel back to an electrical outlet. For instance, I bet a lot of those fans work, but are thrown away because they are not moving any air because they are very dirty and the owner does not know how or does not want to clean it. Just a thought to make things more efficient for your scrap/resell adventures! Keep up the good work!

The cookbooks reminded me of my childhood. My late Mammaw (grandmother) loved Betty Crocker cookbooks. She had a couple of them. We still have her cookbooks somewhere in our house. Haven't really used them since she passed.

When you put that Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook back I about cried. I have one and have beaten the cover loose. Those books are gold if you cook, and make great wedding gifts. Everyone's grandma had one, but only one, and often 9 or 10 grandkids who all wanted Grandma's cookbook after ... well, after. The loose leaf ones from the 60s are great too. All of the basic stuff, and nothing healthied up with all the taste taken out. They've reprinted the old books, but even so; sometimes the old handwriting is the good part.

It would be easier for us to find back videos from years ago if you would put a clue word in the titles so we could find them with the search feature. I wanted to re-watch the time you broke your ribs on the dumpster, but word searches didn't get it. I finally found it by date - 11/07/2017. I believe this is right. A stove is like what you put in your truck, free standing. An oven was made to be built in the wall of your kitchen. This is how I remember it.

I so agree with you on the resale stuff, I do a lot of it. Not everything at the curb is scrap. And sometimes people flat out need stuff like good working washers and dryers that they couldn’t otherwise afford.

18:34 At my grandma's house there was a dresser in the alcove under the stairs that had all the toys and games that we could want! Best memories with my brother playing as many games as we could under the stairs!💜😊💜

Good day Rose That is a funny one. On farm we german shepard & chihuahua. Big dog caught ground hog brought it in to yard , little dog tried to grab & pull it, It was alot heavier than she was. Thanks

We all do it for different reasons Paul, example my daughter and I do it for animal rescues. We buy supply's and food etc and drop it off to them 4 times a year. Keep up the great work #happyscrapping
