Kylie is single-handedly rejuvenating pop music worldwide. Millions upon millions of people have sat on the sidelines waiting for a veteran from the heyday of radio-based pop music to rise again and capture the charts. Kylie is that triple-threat artist. #Padam #Tension
Back in 2008 when I was just discovering Gaga, I remember reading many articles/biographies explaining how Gaga´s music and image had been highly inpired by Kylie and Gwen Stefani. That really caught my eye, as of course, I´ve been obssesed with Kylie since like forever and I was very into Gwen´s music too at the time. It was evident for most of us Kylie´s fans how much inspiration Gaga took from her. So if there had not been Kylie, we wouldn´t have got Gaga, for sure. Anyways, 15 years foward, here we are, and Kylie is still giving us bangers.
Respectfully, her actual comeback came in 2007 after hitting pause in 2005, a month into her greatest hits Showgirl tour, primed for her headlining Glastonbury, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. They postponed the rest of the tour and she went home to Australia to be with her family. The news of it hit the pop world very hard. Fortunately, the surgery was successful but the chemotherapy took a toll and she wasn't active in her music career for 18 months until she resumed her Showgirl tour. Later in 2007 they began working on her tenth studio album which was called X. The upside is that an increase in women started going in for screenings after she made her diagnosis public, citing her as their reason, and saved an unknown amount of lives. She finally got to perform at Glastonbury in 2019 in a beautiful golden dress.
Been a fan since 88 - 5 decades of hits?? ICON! She has only had 1 break - mid 00s for a year when she had cancer. I don’t know how much you have seen of Kylie but I would recommend Better the Devil - 1990 What Do I Have to Do - 1991 Confide in Me - 1994 Love at First Sight - 2002 Slow - 2003 Real Groove - 2020 To dip your toe! 😄🩷
I have to admit when I first heard a snippet of the beginning of this song before it was released, I didn’t have high hopes, but now I absolutely LOVE this song! In fact it’s probably one of my favourite songs I’ve heard in years! It’s got club classic written all over it!! The production of it is sensational and I absolutely love the psychedelic video! Kyle is absolutely smashing it with this and Padam and with some other tracks I’ve heard so far, like Vegas High, Hold on for Now etc, I’m stunned by the sheer quality and instant hook of all these songs! Kyle at her absolute bloody best and currently untouchable imo! ❤
Hi 👋 from Newcastle Australia 🇦🇺, I absolutely love your channel ❤️, Ive been a Kylie fan from the beginning. She was in various Australian shows since she was 9 yrs old. She has the X factor always has always will. She loves ❤️ her fans she is a Diva but she is easy going at the same time, very down to earth. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Have you reacted to Confide In Me yet? One of her best songs ever and from an album released in the early/mid 90s on which Kylie explored house music when it was popular the first time around.
I love how supportive you are of us Aussie's. She's beautiful in every way. Love Kylie.✨♥️ I've watched your reactions to John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Ice House, Michael Paynter, Tina Arena, Matt Corby & the rest. Thank you for opening your ears, mind, heart and soul to our talented artists 🙏🏾✨♥️
Well it was a first time reaction by both of us, and WOW! I'm a 60 year old Aussie Kylie fan and I loved it. I definitely need to have a TH-cam Kyliethon soon! My favorite live performances are Red Blooded Woman (Echo Awards 2004) very hot! Can't Get You Out Of My Head (Brit Awards 2002) What a stage entrance!! But my all time favorite would be both of her numbers at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Watched by an estimated world wide audience of 2.4 billion people, she entered the stadium on a giant thong (flip flop), then jumped on a surf board, then did a costume change on stage to sing ABBA's Dancing Queen. What a lady!!
YES! Thank you for acknowledging what a trailblazer she is. She pushed and mixed sub-genres in pop before it was safe, and caught a lot of flack for it then. And what do you know, those moments are now looked back on in awe.Say it with me, y'all. I C O N.
I very strongly agree. Gaga came about because of Kylie Minogue's - Fever album, Gwen Stefani's - Love Angel Music Baby prodominently I think. But Madonna, Kylie, Janet had a lot of songs before Gaga that influenced her. Similarly Sia influenced Amy Winehouse and then went on to be bigger than Amy Winehouse after Amy was famous. Quite nuts.
The American market isn't everything, and the fact people are paying attention to her now doesn't make it a "comeback". She has been consistently successful around the world for over 3 decades except in the USA. I think she was too polished for the American market.
4:35 stating facts…. The girls could never at this stage in 50 plus years of life not pay respects to those like Kylie before them 🤦🏽♂️ it’s just very true for the fans to notice 💯
I’m obsessed with THAT late 80s/early 90s, Italo, K-Klass, Joe Smooth, housey piano. Whomever named the song screwed up, though! It should've been titled "Touch Me Right There". I could sense with just the little teaser we received for Padam that this is gonna be one incredible album. One of her best, I'm just feeling it. I typically just buy the online album downloads, but this time, I'm buying the deluxe CD. It's hard to believe, I've been a fan of hers since 1987. I consider myself fortunate & blessed to have been able to see her in concert (3rd row!) in 2019. I wish I could see her in Vegas, but not gonna happen.
this is such a quality react.... you're really getting into the context... I've watched alot of these but this is the best one I've seen. it doesn't seem as much like a platform for making views and more like... a part of the cultural conversation 💖
Yo - #1 greetings from Australia #2 - bro, seriously.....as a long (f*kg long) time kylie fan, ( i could be your grandpa ..bahaha) like you I was keen to see the reactions of peeps to this new track, particularly after Padam Padam, #3- I've watched about.mmmm, 6-8 'peeps react' including yours....dont know your channel, just bounced on in...but out of all of them, ....maaaan, you felt that shit, in the vibe, in the pocket.. I loved that you loved it too. And hey, i get how your gen need to google that schizz on her age (i'm like...yeah shes my age..wtf), but you delivered it with respect. Chops to you brother.....Now what other good schizz u goto this channel?...one moment please
Don't call it a comeback if it isn't a comeback. Kylie's never left the scene and she's put out songs and albums continuesly through the years. USA needs to "comeback" on Kylie.
If you watch every KYLIE video from the 90’s to now you will see just how much every single POP artist has been inspired to put it kindly (or copied) the Princess of Pop especially US artists, because not many people know of her so they think these particular artists have come up with these cool concepts, costumes, dances and actual videos as revolutionary but KYLIE did it first.
From the locomotion to cant get you out of my head Kylie kills it. Its so weird loving Kylie and also having one of my favorite KMFDM songs be Sucks where they kinda just trash pop in general but Kylie, MJ, Depeche Mode, and Madonna by name 😅😅
Dude I love your reaction but how come you always pause before the drop? It’s soooo frustrating and you miss the vibe !! Ah I was so excited to see your reaction 😅
I'm guessing he's an american and they've missed out alot on Kylie. Still you're right, Usa needs to comeback to Kylie and check up on all they've been missing.
Love Kylie, she's a proven performer since 1987 but not mad about this song because of autotune and surprised she'd agree to it. Now there's nothing unique about her.
That’s a weird thing to say … it’s not auto tune is just an effect and she uses it on many many many of her songs since at least 2000 . Are you really a fan ?
@@zaasfromparis To me it sounds like autotune, whatever it is I don't like the electro sound. My opinion - but after reading some reviews I'm not the only one who mentions autotune.

Dude Kylie never went anywhere, she's been putting out timeless hits non stop. She's the most deserving gorgeous genius on the planet💚🐨💚
This!👏👏👏 she’s amazing always and forever 🙌
She did have a bit of a break - cancer and recovery
@@Pophead. yep she's amazing, that was Years ago, her come back after that was amazing, her only ever come back, years ago.
@@Pophead. that would've been 2005 ? So it's not a comeback in 2023, as we all know :)
@@Pophead.That was years ago!!
COMEBACK?!? Dude!! Respectfully, Kylie has never left to have a “comeback”…she’s never stopped releasing music 😊😊🥰😍
Kylie is amazing. Gaga did mention her as setting a standard in global concert tours with the scale and artistry.
Back in 2008 when I was just discovering Gaga, I remember reading many articles/biographies explaining how Gaga´s music and image had been highly inpired by Kylie and Gwen Stefani. And yet people had the audacity to claim Kylie's video In My Arms copied GaGa
I know... I´ve read people who even go further claiming Kylie copied Gaga´s Bad Romance for CGYOOMH. @@divatalk9011

She's giving the young ones a run for their money at her age and experience. I've loved her since the 80s ❤
Kylie is NOT playing! I absolutely love this track. ❤

The blonde Kylie controlling the hologram Kylie and the Kylie from the 80’s went to an abandoned disco of Las Vegas who was left by her lover
Madonna was doing it 5 years earlier in 1983. Kylie in 1988. But still an amazing Achievement.
