Middle income housing in San Diego sounds good. You only need to be making $200K a year!

No such thing as low income housing. Any apartment built is middle income and higher.

Mean while San Diego City wasted 135 acres site of the former Charger Stadium. A site with a trolley station and next to retail. 135 acres was bought by San Diego State University for a 2 separate campus configuration. Ruining a campus body cohesiveness. Instead of San Diego State University focusing on being wise with their land and developing on their existing campus.

That housing looks like Soviet-era housing. Looks like cement prison cells.

I'll take cement over wood any day of the week. I can't stand being able to hear every little sound my neighbors make.

@@chrism3933 Keep the people as renters so they can make more money. Jimmy Carter would get out there and build you a home to own. The Biden democrats have fallen a long way from that. Democrats don't even hide the fact anymore that they are making a ton of money off the poor folks anymore. Putting the middle income families in their slums was the next step. Logical.

What real estate investor is going to build these units and then charge below market price? You can call it what you want but it's not going to be affordable.

The builder gets to build 150 units (with minimal parking spaces) in exchange for providing only 15 low and 15 middle income units?!? What a joke!

I work hard everyday to see people come here that don't want to work and live off the tax money that they take from me every month and I can't find me a place to stay that I can afford when Uncle Sam is taking half of my check because I don't have kids. I'm paying for people to have food stamps and welfare money and section 8. IT'S NOT FAIR. PERIOD.

Good, then leed by example, when the time comes refuse to collect the social security and medicare. That is where the payroll deductions you are complaining about really go. You are financing the government by purchasing t-bills that you will later draw down while you continue to complain and blame others. As for section 8, section 8 is the rent stabilization program. It is a land lord welfare system. Quit blaming the other victims.

The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver, and digital currencies (BTC,ETH...)
