Middle income housing in San Diego sounds good. You only need to be making $200K a year!
Uh Oh, Tara Elizabeth setup thread is coming up below! Does she pay these people?
No such thing as low income housing. Any apartment built is middle income and higher.
Mean while San Diego City wasted 135 acres site of the former Charger Stadium. A site with a trolley station and next to retail. 135 acres was bought by San Diego State University for a 2 separate campus configuration. Ruining a campus body cohesiveness. Instead of San Diego State University focusing on being wise with their land and developing on their existing campus.
That housing looks like Soviet-era housing. Looks like cement prison cells.
Want something inexpensive, you have to build it cheap.
Why do you think he is in china at the moment? He is going to make this a communist state.
I'll take cement over wood any day of the week. I can't stand being able to hear every little sound my neighbors make.
Edit: typo
What did you expect? It's a Government Sponsored Entity.
@@chrism3933 Keep the people as renters so they can make more money. Jimmy Carter would get out there and build you a home to own. The Biden democrats have fallen a long way from that. Democrats don't even hide the fact anymore that they are making a ton of money off the poor folks anymore. Putting the middle income families in their slums was the next step. Logical.
What real estate investor is going to build these units and then charge below market price? You can call it what you want but it's not going to be affordable.
The builder gets to build 150 units (with minimal parking spaces) in exchange for providing only 15 low and 15 middle income units?!? What a joke!
Exactly!
No sense talk...
Any new places are not gonna be cheap no matter what.
Middle income housing in California is 800,000 on average.
😮😮😮😮
It's a scam.
whats middle income housing gonna look like when youre in a state that requires a minimum of 100k to live reasonably? not looking real promising to me
I work hard everyday to see people come here that don't want to work and live off the tax money that they take from me every month and I can't find me a place to stay that I can afford when Uncle Sam is taking half of my check because I don't have kids. I'm paying for people to have food stamps and welfare money and section 8. IT'S NOT FAIR. PERIOD.
Good, then leed by example, when the time comes refuse to collect the social security and medicare. That is where the payroll deductions you are complaining about really go. You are financing the government by purchasing t-bills that you will later draw down while you continue to complain and blame others. As for section 8, section 8 is the rent stabilization program. It is a land lord welfare system. Quit blaming the other victims.
@@donklee3514 no it's not IDIOT I'M PAYING TAXES FOR YOU DONKEY
go exempt for a while!😊 Its refreshing!
@@bettyjoscookin3847 thanks Sweet Betty
This is going to raise the cost of rent by building "Middle income housing" just like low income housing raises the cost of rent already
How? That doesn't make any sense, won't more supply help meet demand lowering rent??
More subsidies for builders. A drop in the bucket. Net zero.
The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver, and digital currencies (BTC,ETH...)
@AMANDA-wk9tz HOW !! I know it's possible I would appreciate it if you show me how to go about it.
I just searched about her on Google and yes, she's won my heart. She just gained herself a new client
@AMANDA-wk9tz please, how can someone get to speak with Mrs Tara!!?
Please, how much is OK for a start? So I can know if I can do this, someone should give me an answer
Are there trading services in Spain?
Before I would live in apartment again to get crazy drunk people trying to knock down my door or be window snooping or get bullied by landlord I rather live on a Boat or RV
Creating more renters. Great now we will all live in what will become slums soon enough. Newsom spent 20 billion on the homeless. He should have put that money towards helping people buy homes.
What is the definition of middle-income? $50,000 a year?
200k in california
Well it used to be home ownership which is different in every location. Location location location? And I'm not talking about mortgage slavery. Real ownership.
I know software engineers that make $125,000 a year that are homeless in San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco .......
Oh, they're going to mandate more middle income housing by law? You know what happens when government inserts itself into any market, right? More shortages! Good job, California!
Sounds good, build the middle class housing in Sacramento and placer too!!!!!
Build in every country that embraced neo-liberal/ neo-con-artist economic policies back in the 80's. They are all experiencing growing homelessness.
What's wrong with houses for housing ? Apt triplex duplex unit not helping but create more dirty unfitting crowd.!
Houses with more responsibility would be helping vs units no responsibility no ethic pointless investment...
crazy how stuff we need to live has become commodified
This is insanity. But it sounds good.
Another boondoggle for political brownie points.
Cali, all talk, no action. where is the high speed rails? Democrats in charge, nothing gets done
It's really ugly.
not only San Diegans but East Coasters, (if my term in right) will stay there as well, everybody wants a nice weather😒
Same Pattern duh! For years same old fart thang...
Crime comin to a city near you
The business community is to blame, LOW PAY..
No surprise, of course they could pay more especially in retail so long as the LOOTERS and shoplifters quit stealing so the stores could hold prices, pay less on insurance leaving enough to stay open and in business or even make a decent profit!
Close! The business cycles are a big part of the problem. Boom bust=opportunity for speculators to drive up the cost of productive resources and accumulate passive income.
BUILD IN SAN DIEGO NOW!!!!!!
