😊 cheers mate, was my fastest run to date this one according to Strava 😆 Paying price today though, can't move left arm 🤦🏻♂️ Actually, wonder if I use that tonight it might be like............. 🤔
Thank you, means alot coming from someone who has ridden there, as I know you understand just how crazy and amazing this place is 👍🏼 Did the Original DH trackast wek, christ almighty that was steep. I was fairly cautious, but not one dab all the way down. Even got a top 8 time for ebike category on Strava 😃😃 proper chuffed lol
All those mechanicals must be making it faster, clearly not me doing it 🤣 Yeh, was a good run down this one, only really noticed how many puddles there were when watching it back 💧
Cheers mate, my favourite place for riding and sessioning crazy trails 😊 back there tomorrow to start getting the next track dialled in. Darren's favourite, Son of Squirrel 🐿😊
Nice one, it is such a great place!! Martin is really sound as well. Best £30 you will have spent. Take the route up through the wood of cycling, far quicker. Will also see some more very interesting trail exits which are well worth a look 👀👀 Scary as hell. Will get an idea on my one giant leap on Hardtails video. I was pants of course 🤣
Oh champion I'll take that advice for sure thanks mate. Is there a great deal of difference between the route through the woods or the road in terms of battery usage. And I'll watch that next cheers fella. Hopefully we cross paths sometime on the trails.
@@MrJackroderick sure is, road is one mile further, and steep all the way so basically trail at best, and boost pretty much all the way. Through the woods, boost or trail first section, then can pretty much get up it in eco or trail 👍🏻 I got five laps in and battery gave up then. But, I also have no extra pack etc. Tbh was knackered on fifth run down so was secretly glad 🤣
Perfect thanks mate. Can't wait to come have a go now. I bet 5 laps is still a decent amount of time on the bike isn't it. I've done a good few days at bpw on mine now averaging maybe 8 laps and I'm usually cooked by then.
Yeh, five laps I think is around 4.5k ft elevation, about that anyway 👍🏻 8 laps is incredible at BPW! What bike and battery do you have, is the charging there easy enough to get access to?
Bet that place is interesting in the wet 😱 good luck. Is it your first visit? Think you might just enjoy it, as long as have a good guide. Not sure I would be attempting this Skipper in this weather mind!
@@ElectricMountainBiker it's local to me. There's lots there that's frowned on filming so I don't do alot of videos there. It's only like 35 mins away. Bring on the summer 😂
Thank you 😁 I loved this trail so much, Even now it makes me smile 😃 but alas it is no more, the bottom section before the big drop is now big jumps. Done very well, but I just can't hit them. Glad I got to ride it loads when it was like the video though 👍🏻👍🏻
Honestly this place is not easy, fully understand that. I took 3 mates there recently and all of them after the first run had that "what the hell have I let myself in for look", but by 3rd run all keen to get back upnfor another shot at it. One thing I can assure you at One Giant Leap is progression. You quite simply have to, it makes you progress lol My favourite place for riding this, scares me so much, but wow what a rush as well ❤ Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@ElectricMountainBiker we stayed right close to this place a couple of years ago, but it wasn't on our radar then. Hopefully by the time we get back to being able to get away I'll be a bit more confident 💪🤣
If I keep it in Trail and eco, take the climb through the woods, not the road climb, can get 5 laps 👍🏻 Long descents as well, makes the climb worth it.
Mate, that was a phenomenal run, anyone who has rode there will appreciate how fast you've rode that, you got it dialled, superb video 😃👍

Great one . Considering it was so wet I can only imagine summer time how quick you will be going down them tracks .
Can't wait for dry trails now, had enough of this slop 🤣
Smooth as butter. Even the water on those puddles was getting out of your way. Carrying some great speed. 👌

Can someone pin point where this it is because I was there on Monday and I could not see it
@RangerShaun search for One Giant Leap, Llangollen, North Wales 👍🏻
Fantastic run Christian, that was fast and great work buddy. Keep it up and have a great time. Ride on🤙

Speed is getting there. Makes it much more fun when you can get the gaps right carrying enough speed. 👍
Cheers mate, speed certainly makes it easier and more fun. Next track for getting better on resumes tomorrow, a little bit steeper the next one 🤣

What is the make of your handlebars also whereabouts is that on Llandegla
Race face handlebars, came as standard with the bike 👍🏻 Link in description for their website and location, very close to Llandegla.
