- Are you planning a Cocoa Beach day trip? In this video, I'm going to go over the top places to see at Cocoa Beach, and show you all of my favorite places I head to when planning a beach day.
It's only an hour away from the main attractions in Orlando, and one of the easiest beaches to get to. Which makes it a great choice for Orlando visitors looking to add in a beach day to their Florida vacation.

I have had a timeshare in Cocoa Beach for 25 years in July and still love this beach town. Old Florida charm with just enough new stuff to always be fun. I live in CA and the beach is just fantastic.
I think that beach pier is a cool spot to eat and have a tropical drink. That would be the highlight of my day trip there.

Right?! It has been a few years since I've been to Cocoa. NSB, and Daytona are closer for us, so we always end up going up that way. Don't you just love living so close to so many amazing places?
Wow! Each of those places looks amazing. I saw the large key lime pie on the news and didn’t know it was from Cocoa Beach!
Yessss......isn't that the coolest? I LOVE key lime pie...I'm glad I wasn't there, I would have eaten the whole thing! hahah!
I’ve been to Cocoa Beach many times but didn’t know about all the shops and activities. Will definitely visit them.

The Dinosaur museum looks AMAZING! My son loves anything Dino 🦖 related. We are hoping to visit for the summer for a few days before heading to a Disney World Orlando. Can’t wait! Excellent information. I've lived on the east coast of Florida for several years and find Cocoa Beach and Cocoa Village hard to navigate because of the different islands. Your video will help me get around when I visit next time. For travelers taking a day trip from Orlando with kids, I would suggest going to the Kennedy Space Center first. It's a big place and taking the bus tour takes some time. Get there early and then head to Cocoa Beach for swimming and dessert. There is a restaurant at the space center.

We were supposed to stay there before boarding Our Cruise ship Harmony of the sea.. too bad it was canceled in May 2020. Now I see what we missed.

Wearing my Ron Jon's wears rn. The Sandbar has the BEST fish tacos and some really strong drinks like Category 5 Hurricanes 🌀. You might wake up a little fogged after a few though 😉

Hi soul music G! Unfortunately, I'm not sure...I would think it should start up again soon. it has everywhere else we've been.
Hello there! I will be coming off of a cruise in Aug. and before I go into the Orlando area to catch the amtrak I would like to stay for the day and walk around the area. But it seems like Cocoa Beach is not a walkable area. I also would have to like to ditch my suitcase to walk around freely. I would like to souvenir shop, go to the pier & visit the key lime pie place (didn't know about that place) do you have any suggestions on where I can store my suitcase & a central place to do all I want. Thank you!
Hi S Swan! Thank you so much for watching! :) You could take an Uber to Ron Jon Surf Shop to grab souvenirs, and the Key Lime Pie store is right across the parking lot from Ron Jon's. The pier is a bit further down the beach (about a 20 minute walk), but it is doable if you want to see it. For the luggage, I couldn't really help because I've never done this before. I would ask the people at the pier if they're able to hold it for you. I know they do before your cruise, I just don't know if they do after your cruise. There are also a few hotels in the area that will be willing to hold it for you. You may have to call around and see. I hope that helps! 😊

Hi Blindside XV! I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you so much for watching! :) October is a great time...the weather is still warm, and it's no longer the rainy season. So, you'll get a lot more sunshine. Plus, October isn't as busy, so the attractions won't be as crowded. Always a plus!
Anyone know weather in coco beach today and tomorrow im on vacation in ft lauderdale having a miserable time due to rain is it any better up there
Hi Mg Shizzle! I'm so sorry to hear you're having a miserable time. It's raining all across the state this week unfortunately. It's scattered showers, so it'll be on and off all day depending on where you are. The summer is our wet season, so it usually rains every afternoon like clockwork.
