Usyk’s cardio is a nightmare, I think Fury will have periods of success in the rematch, but I still haven’t seen any heavyweights with a lot of answers to Usyk’s pace the last third of the fights
Nice one again joey. Really hyped for the fight, usyk is still favourite to win again for me but I’d love fury to win so we can get a third fight. First fight was a great watch very close for me can’t wait
That judge was called out too and asked to justify his decision and he couldn’t. Was mind boggling that it was a split decision in the second Joshua fight. He did better than the first fight but no fair person said he won. Even his fans knew he lost.
20:00 When Joey is talking about "the things Tyson Fury knows now", that is predicated on the false assumption that Fury has realized that he lost. Fury doesn't think that he lost, or that he needs to do anything differently. He's made no corner changes, there's no weight change. No talk of new strategy, because that would mean admitting the old one didn't work. The rematch will be more of the same.
Let's not forget this: Usyk was never chinned in 350 amateur, 6 semiprofessional and 22 professional fights. And he fought the likes of Beterbiev ( 3 times), Gassiev, Joe Joyce, AJ , Dubois, who can all punch way harder than Fury. Fury was floored 8 times, including by a cabdriver, a cruiserweight and a novice. Simply put, that means that Fury can not floor Usyk, let alone stop him. Usyk can at least floor him again, and possibly even stop him.Needless to say, Fury can not outbox Usyk. Nobody else can, since his technique is perfect, his output is insane and his cardio is not of this world.
Still doesn't change the fact that Usyk isn't invincible. He's beatable. I just hope Fury fix all the atrocious school boy errors he made in the first fight because he's his own worst enemy. Usyk with all his speed threw less punches than the supposed sluggish Fury and was able to land more of his punches in round 9, following Fury being caught on the nose in round 8. Usyk with all his invincible gas tank still couldn't get another KD throughout the remaining entire 3 rounds left.
Just some basic things will help Fury ... A) Don't clown as much (Some of the rounds were so tight that if Fury landed a couple. more punches he MIGHT have won said round). B) hold his hands up more. C) (most importantly) ... DON'T lean back. Usy's feet are so fast that he can get back into punching distance like no other. Lesser ... if he lands/hurts Usyk, go again and again.

@@saintdon4461but boxing isn’t like watching a national team. He’s not representing England. He doesn’t even like English fans. He went off to the US for the wilder trilogy and even said US fans were better than ones in the Uk. This is because English fans actually call out fury for his actions. Like not rematching Klitschko, failing a drug test and slipping into retirement to avoid media backlash, then conning boxing fans by milking the saga with wilder, and doing a third fight with Chisora for no reason other than easy money. I back Usyk cos I prefer his boxing style, his professionalism and his credentials as a boxer. Fury is a great boxer but he’s conned a lot of people into thinking he’s the greatest of all time.
Fighting wilder was all about avoiding the big right hand and that's what Tyson really means when he says wilder was the hardest opponent because he knew at any point he could be out cold but Tyson doesn't always explain himself properly usyk was the toughest physically and mentally. Tyson needs to try and not let usyk keep backing him up and at times he needs to back usyk up obviously he can't back usyk up for 12 rounds this could go either way but the hatred towards Tyson people won't admit what usyk has admitted that Tyson was the hardest fight he's had and he also said Tyson actually hits hard obviously usyk is the favourite
I love Usyk - and I want him to win again. But I think we see the BEST Usyk when he’s put under pressure- hurt etc- and he knows he must do something heroic to get the fight back. Look at how Fury bossed those 4 rounds he won. He may have only won 4 but he was winning big in those 4 rounds. Until Usyk realised- he had to bring the hero persona out- and he not only won but won it by 8-4. Amazing accomplishment.
I'm just a fan of boxing, so it didn't matter to me who won the first fight, or indeed who wins the rematch. It was a brilliant first fight, and if the rematch is even better, then the real winners are genuine fans of boxing.
I hope for a Fury win so that we get a trilogy, but the odds say Usyk wins. To me, Fury fought just like he usually does, but Usyk showed that he is leagues above any fighter that Fury has ever faced. It's really about Usyk. He's that good! Fury will have to rise to Usyk's level in order to win.
@@saintdon4461This isn’t true. Usyk has been known to allow a round to go to his opponent if he knows he’s already losing it and doesn’t want to waste unneeded energy. I love this fight so much, greatest style match up in boxing rn. Great fight in the first this second one I think Fury needs to keep up the output and pumping that jab and right hands. When he got tired and slowed down he met the canvas, I need Fury to start high output, sharp and countering. Hello again, Joey. I have watched several of these fight breakdowns/predictions & there is ONE glaringly obvious detail that you & all the other professional pundits have either missed or just failed to mention & this is it:- One of Fury's biggest & most used tactics in the boxing ring is clinching & leaning-on. This serves TWO purposes; 1. It tires out Fury's opponent & saps his strength, it empties his gas tank. 2. It gives Fury a much needed rest. The trouble is that Usyk has worked out how to stop Fury from clinching & this was & will be absolutely crucial. I do not believe that Fury has any chance whatsoever of beating Usyk UNLESS Usyk sustains a cut or some sort of injury, or if he has a cardiac arrest within the 12 rounds. If none of this happens then Fury is doomed. Best regards
Fury came in the best possible shape for the first fight I don't think he can get anymore prepared physically. For fury to win (which isn't impossible) is roughing usyk up, leaning with weight when the chance presents itself.i don't see him doing it without getting himself in trouble so I'm leaning towards usyk. I just think usyk has an answer for everything until fury slows down.
What really stood out to me that Usyk did besides the KD was how easy Usyk closed the gap in the early rounds to hit Fury's body and got out unscathed. It must be a psychological blow to the bigger man that one of his advantages, the reach, was easily stolen by the quicker and smaller man. I think that's one of the key aspects the Fury team will try to set traps on, because those punches were very reliable for Usyk, physically and mentally. If they can steal that advantage back by punishing Usyk coming in, that's a huge resurgence for them.
Any smart, deep thinking and objective fan could see that Fury made so many atrocious school boy errors mentally, offensively and defensively in the first fight. The only major improvement I Usyk will make is being more mobile to tire out Fury. He'll be in for serious trouble should he fight the same way he fought in his last fight
So your advice to Fury is go on the front foot (something he's said he's not comfortable with) and throw uppercuts. He's doomed. He will NEVER be able to control the pace of this fight. One he doesn't have the stamina, two Usyk won't let him use dirty tactics like leaning.
Joey please explain to me why Tyson fury gets so much credit for beating Wilder a guy whos not beat one genuine world class fighter in his whole career
Tyson might have focused on cardio, but as long as his belly is greedy he won't have elite fitness. I know of no fighter weighting 260+ lbs that has that kind of edurance, perhaps Jarrell Miller but he doesn't move that explosively and throws mostly arm punches.
Fury is a bigger longer reach, more dangerous man, but he's going to lose if he plays/box honestly coz of the 12 rounds endurance he has to tough though with he's size.. I expect some under the belt hits in order to wear out Usek I hope I'm wrong.. I bet Usek will win.
I disagree there about Usyks fitness that he can be fitter in the rematch, on the contrary..he was the best he could've been.. Usyks always in shape always training, always gives it 100%..you're not gonna get 110% or 120% fitter in the rematch..because 100% is 100%...right?.. but we all know for a fact Fury can be fitter..not just condition wise but better tactically too.. he wasn't at his best..even though he was the lightest in years ..he still wasn't sparring enough due to the cut..so no one can convince me that his conditioning was 100%.. Fury definitely can be better in the rematch in both ways...but as for Usyk he's always 100% physically.. I cant see him suddenly getting more fitter than he already is, tactically he can maybe change a few things if he wanted.. but fitness wise he's already the best he can be..so he's not going to suddenly get fitter And more stamina. Tyson can change more than Usyk in the rematch.
Fury likes his little opponents I’m just sick of hearing the bs from the fury clan in general. There’s hype and there’s insult and disrespect. I’m hoping Usyk wins again. I think he’s the better boxer and certainly the better man. Fury needs pulling down a few pegs and learn some humility.
