Yeah not sure why Jetstar doesn't have flights to Hong Kong yet. Virgin just announced last week they will start direct flights from Sydney to Hong Kong so I'd say it wont be long before Jetstar start flying that route.

I’m pretty sure it’s to do with their current fleet. Unless they shuffled planes around such as replacing 787 flights with a320s it wouldn’t work
The Jetstar A320 cabin looks like the Air NZ A320 cabin in many ways
I have yet to fly with Air NZ. I sure plan to try them as soon as I can.

I don't think Jetstar have plans to launch in India. Too much red tape and sticky fingers to compete with to get an airline started.
