People don’t understand that in THIS game the paint defense isn’t bad. You need a RIM PROTECTING BUILD to consistently protect the rim. Same thing goes with jump shooting 🤷🏾♂️
I have 5 different builds in LIVE, my lockdown gets a lot of chase downs but my rim protector rarely gets scored on in the paint even when I’m late to contest. A lot more missed dunks when I jump with ppl too

Every time I start this game over I go Ray Allen Sniper build til I unlock his jumper, then I make a reaper wing shooter with way back, catch n shoot, n late to the party. I get him to lvl 100 for the level fifty skip on my next character, then i make a Claw wing defender starting with silver way back, late to the party and sure handles then i max him out and finally thats the build i play on. U get 85 shooting and u get all kinds of block boosts and animations.
Ppl are failing to realize that the PS4 version of NBA Live 19 is RUINED bc of 8ft players with modded attributes like for example they’ll be having a 1 million 3pt and contested shot skill and we can all thank SAVE WIZARD for this bs. If y’all wanna play this game, play it on xbox, even though there’s ppl who have 18 traits (for example, shot blocking trait) it’s way better than playing against a modded build on ps that you’ll have A 0% CHANCE OF DEFENDING THEM. Edit: from what i’ve heard, the attributes only cap to 99 even though it’ll display it to be way higher than that. I’m not sure if that’s true, i’m just saying what someone told me

The key to any EA game is staying off the turbo button while in 2k you see guys constantly spamming turbo. EA is a slower pace game. It’s just like playing FIFA or Madden.

the only thing that is good for the people that have xbox is that the demo of nba live 19 it’s free and it is great have practice courts 1v1 5v5 and quick matches so you can enjoy it i think that is better then pay it for a nba 2k25
As someone on an Xbox one s Wich dosnt run next gen nba live 19 looks better and plays more realistically than 2k its not as refined i have 2k24 and honestly I prefer to grind save money and have fun
live is goated, but it's unplayable in some places. I live in aus and we don't even have servers here so the delay online is trash. it's literally unplayable, you cannot shoot. full bars every time

It's not that you can't double team nobody just like real life if u double team u gotta find the right person to switch to
That's the point. If YOUR ARCHETYPE is not defensive DO NOT expect to get a LEGIT stop or close out.

You need a defensive build to defend period. The whole game caters to offense. 1000 offensive traits to 3 defensive lol.
Wing defender build can too. Kawhi build can do basically everything
NBA Live is so much fun. Especially when you are playing with good teammates
