This is truly a fairytale story, ajd this will definetky go down as one of the greatest runs of the English footballing league. From 3rd division to 1st division in 2 years, absolutely astronomical.
Much love for Ipswich town as a spurs fan, and a Northern Irish citizen, looking forward to see them next season 💙🤍
Norwich and southampton did the same thing few years ago
@@Freespeech89 ah but those clubs are established yo-yo clubs in many ways and also have historically had better financial backing, planning and management in every sense for the past 30 years. Ipswich was in a dead zone all my life and now at last are alive again.
@@Freespeech89 They were underperforming - they were never actually League One level.
Even now Ipswich's squad market value despite the gains from the good results is in the bottom half of the Championship.
Im a United fan and I followed McKenna and his progress with Ipswich ever since he left United. I’m so happy for him and I always knew there was something special about him and Carrick as coaches, who we can definitely say now were unfairly judged by a lot of United fans because Mark Goldbridge said they can’t coach. Its an incredible feat to go back to back and I can’t wait to see Ipswich in the PL next season. As with McKenna, the sky’s the limit for him. Congrats Ipswich and their fans for this promotion!
People who listen to Goldbridge's ideas about football dont know the game. The guy thrives on toxicity
@@Rebhara Yeah but "he's played the game"... I like him but watching KMcK for 2 1/2 seasons with us I can safely say that he was wrong with that take.
It's crazy to think that just a year ago they were still in the League 1, but now they have been promoted into the premier league. The coach, players and people behind the scenes have put really hard work and they got what they deserved
Congrats Ipswich Town! Welcome to the Premier League💙
*welcome back
From Liverpool Fan. Welcome Back Home to Premier League ❤
Thanks man!
Thank you sir !!
Liverpool fans are so classy! Thank you sir!
Congratulations Ipswich! Good to see a traditional club back in the PL! 👍🔵⚪
People said Ipswich would struggle with the step up from League One and they were right; 98 points last year and only 96 points this year.
McKenna is washed! (But Mourinho isn't!!)
Boom boom! Well played sir.
Congrats to the tractor boys. Been in the top 2,3,4, all season. Fully deserved to go up. From a soton fan.
Thanks mate. I am a Town fan who used to go watch Saints when l was at university in your city. Looks like you will join us. Leeds look shot
@@jontalbot1 i wouldnt bank on it. The play offs are a lottery, much rather be in your shoes.😃
Very gracious of you. A shame about that poor run towards the end, hopefully they rebound strongly in the playoffs.
( Everton fan ) Congratulations Ipswich Town on your promotion to The Premier League! amazing progress. Good to have you back where you belong. 👏👏
Congatulations ipswich no surprise though you could see the quality last year . I think youll do well next year . Barnsley fan
I am a UNITED fan but did my A-levels in Ipswich (yup....foreign student ) and have a soft spot for the Town.....so happy to hear the news. Sweet to know McKenna had a role to play too.
Amazing to think that TH-cam didn't even exist the last time they were in the Prem.
Ipswich Town last Premiere League run: 2002
The birth of TH-cam: 2005
Good morning from Queenstown NZ. What a great result. Loving my club.
From an Everton fan, welcome back Ipswich 💙👏💙👏💙👏
Welcome back Ipswich. ❤
Newcastle fan here well done ipswitch your manager has done what keegen did for us back to back promotions .. our beloved sir Bobby was smiling down that’s for sure
Being able to achieve successive promotions is absolutely outstanding. Well done to McKenna, this brilliant team and the fans who stuck with them through all the ups and downs. Hoping that the Tractor Boys can continue to punch above their weight in the top flight 💙
Congrats to the most entertaining team at the moment ITFC. Well deserved.
Please get Alexander Isak from Newcastle and also improve the defence line during or before next season in PL. This will be both interesting and very good.
Big thanks to everybody working in the club for a marvelous season.
Cant wait until this autumn to see i.e Man C at Portman!
Surely Kieran McKenna should be awarded the manager of the season for the entire football league!
´´It´s a collective´´. The most relevent phrase of this analysis. Manager , staff , fans and superbly supportive American owners. A pure symbiosis very raely seen anywhere in football. We Ipswich fans are in 7th. heaven.
As a life long fan, I admit I cried my eyes out at the final whistle. All season, I’ve been religiously telling myself, do not expect this. But here we are. Happy days 😊💙💙💙
You're not the only one!
Well done ipswich as an everton fan. So looking foward to playing uses at Portman road next season congratulations 💙💙💙👏👏👏🥳🥳
Retro Goal was cooking when they got promoted the prem when I was playing as Plymouth.
Congratulations 🎉
Welcome Back Ipswich!
Congratulations 🎉 👏
Unbelievable, CONGRATS to ALL THE PLAYERS & STAFF!!!!
COYB ,
I’m beyond happy
Sometimes a manager just "clicks" with a club. You can tell the team were enjoying playing for McKenna all season and gave their all every game. Back to back promotion is incredible. Well done Tractor Boys 💪⚽️
As an American getting into prem league I think I’m gonna root for Ipswich this next year
🇬🇧🇺🇸🔵⚪👍
23 years ago I did the same thing with the NFL as the Panthers were a new start up franchise so I saw some underdog similarities between ourselves (Ipswich) and them.
It's been a mental ride with both teams to say the least since then!
@@bennwardhaugh3013 I was born and raised a chiefs fan so the equivalent would be like man city but that just doesn’t feel right haha, Ipswich it is!
@@mgreene1623 Haha that's a smart choice, no one likes a bandwagon fan! 🤣
To be honest, that's exactly why I'm not a Packer's fan as they're very similar in being a close knit, family style club/franchise as ITFC but it just seemed cheap.
Credit to Ipwich for appointing McKenna as manager back in 2021. Not many people would have the guts to someone who was the assistant coach to Ragnick and Solskjaer with the outcome we all know Manchester United. The prima donnas at United at the time, with many still there, didn't like his coaching methods and did everything to throw the managers under the bus. As a United fan, I've been following him since he took over at Portman Road in 2021, and I'm so glad for his success. Hope that Radcliffe and his people take a leaf out of Ipswich's management book and implement it at Old Trafford. Get rid of the player power culture!
That's literally the biggest issue at your club, you get that sorted and you'll be back to where you should really be as you've had to put up with some crap over the last few years... Just keep your hands off Kieran! 🤣
@@bennwardhaugh3013 Lol. He needs to continue his journey with the Tractor Boys. It will be a huge mistake if he leaves now for a big club. Nah, I sincerely hope he stays, mate.
@@yanikg-force I'm honestly more concerned with someone like Brighton trying to pinch him but I just don't think he'll leave us for another team.
For yourselves, I personally think that Ten Hag could be your own "Demolition Man" to get rid of the player power culture, but in the end it doesn't matter who the manager is if the owners won't let him sell the main culprits. Maybe Sir Jim will allow it, which in that case could lead to a mad summer of change for yourselves.
Congrates to ipswich town 🎉🎉
Big Up Ipswich Town and Reggae Boy Omari Hutchinson!
From Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere Rovers. Welcome Back Ipswich Town to the Premier League its bee 22 years...
The tractor boys are back to the top league !
Welcome back ipswich🙌
Congratulations 👏👏
So proud of all of these team and staff it's not just what they achieved it's also the way they did it all. I supported Ipswich for 45 years
Morsy is the most important player is the team
Well done Ipswich
WELL DONE TOWN !! CONGRATULATIONS....
Congratulations Ipswich from Indonesia wish keep elkan to next season
I remember when the players were laughing at Kieran when he was at Man United. They were calling him P. E. teacher and etc. Now we can clearly see where the real problem is. Congratulations to Kieran glad that he left that toxic environment.
Exactly
Congrats to the reggae Boyz Winger Omari Hutchinson On a successful Season and His Team Promotion to the Top Flight!!
Well in Ipswich absolutely deserve it, been unbelievable for them, slightly jealous as a Sunderland fan 🔴⚪🔴⚪ we are 💩
As a Town fan l always found it a pleasure to visit Mackemland. I thought we would do well at the beginning of the season and that was confirmed when we won at your gaffe. Disappointing season for you.
@@jontalbot1 hopefully we'll join you one day in my life time, what a job Kieran McKenna has done
We've got underdogs qualify for the Premier League these past two seasons let's hope it has become a trend 😁
Leicester,Ipswich,and next is Norwich👊🔥
@@ssgamazing2564it would be incredible, as a town fan, to have the old farm elevated to the prem. I really hope Norwich make it through the play offs, good luck mate.
@@ssgamazing2564 You think Norwich will get promoted ? 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Rainstorm4000 honestly don't want to see leeds or soton coming out so for me it's either norwich or wba
Well done Ipswich. As long as Birmingham shite go down. UTV
Congratulations to Ispwich Town 👏👏👏👏👏👏
As a neutral Derby fan well done tractor boys. Proof that with the right guy in charge and great recruitment it can be done to get up the leagues without spending a fortune. I am sure they are looking forward to possibly facing the old enemy next season depending on the play off results!
Congrats to yourselves too, another club that should never be lower than a championship club. Party time all round!
On the final bit... Nah, they can stay where they are. 🤣
Well done the 🚜 boys
McKenna was doing a great job at Man United until the Glazers screwed him. He also takes former united's academy players to build Ipswich from scratch
The irony that the most bitter fans are not our old Norfolk rivals, but are Leeds fans insisting Ipswich aren’t a ‘real’ club. I pray that Norwich knock you for six.
Well Ipswich, next season I think everyone will have you get relegated again
That’s what we want. People writing us off.
Be honest, ipswich potentially deserved to be champions more than Leicester. Leicester threw away 15 point lead, too proud, no game change, and losing 2-0 in final game. They gave up.
You forget Ipswich and Leicester both started insanely strong, Ipswich went off the boil abit halfway through the season while Leicester kept going and then Leicester fell off and Ipswich made a comeback. Leicester then made a comeback toward the end of the season hence why they’re champions so it’s hardly giving up. I don’t think they’ll mind too much about a 0-2 loss on the final day either
A great story but they hardly defied the odds when they were odds on for the playoffs before the season
Allow me to be the first to say commiserations to Ipswich Town football club ahead of their upcoming relegation from the premier league next season.
Norwich fan?
Bloody hell commented on everything to do with ipswich. You're saltier than the dead sea
@@willbok3093 nah, I’m just poking some fun. They’ve done really well this season and absolutely deserve promotion. That said it’s really bloody difficult to stay up after being promoted to the prem so I think they very likely will be relegated but we’ll see what happens and regardless of that I think Ipswich fans should sit back and enjoy the ride.
@@yanikg-force yes lol
