I love this drama but the one thing that bothered me is they never really explained why he has such an aversion to Ling Wei or whatever her name is. Like I get that she doesn't seem to take a hint and thats annoying to him and she is tricky when she uses people to get what she wants, but it seems more than that. They mention at something happening between him, her, and that other boy from high school. And I can assume it was using his best friend to get to him, but they never actually explain it. I wish they would have gone into a bit of detail about it. It would have been nice to not just assume the backstory.
I think he just sensed how fucked up of a person she was and just didn't want to try and fake friendship nd he's not really the type of person to sugarcoat things so he just outright ignored her everytime I guess

I think he is implying that Ling Wei was involved in the misunderstanding so it seems more than him just being a "straight and cold" individual. Just seemed off to me.. like not fully explained. I loved it otherwise though it is so cute.
@@sammiec2593 yeah I agree with what you said! But according to me I guess the reason why he hated Ling Wei was because she was the reason why the other guy started hating him.. the other guy liked Ling Wei and Ling Wei liked Qin Shen so maybe that's why the other guy hated Qin Shen!

I think it is quite simple, no background story at all. He simply never trusted her bc he knew she tried to force love out of him. And it is no one should ever do.
The guy isn't really a CEO, but a producer of a big company. It's Poisonous Love. I liked it since the girl has some sort of sickness that makes her mentally immobile a lot of times, and the Producer pulls some strings to save her.
