These dudes were highly relevant...elite. They were right behind WuTang in terms of talent when I was growing up. Rock gotta understand that it's been at least quarter century since their hey day. Rock in the 90s was a lyrical wordsmith, but even then you could tell ruck had more character then he did.rock has always had a hyper deamenor, but I can see a little maturity in him as he has aged.i think the loss of his road dog ruck when he was alive helped compliment his deamenor a little, but loved the stories he told.wish you the best rock you're definitely a legend.
mohamed madimaadi "if you dont know Alcatraz then you don't know Sean you couldn't know your dayz is numbered you almost gone" haha! My bad g that comment jus brought that line up!
I remember back in 95-96, they were on Hot 97 & Angie Martinez asked them about " " Eshkoshka ". They used to play NBA Live & the computer sound effects weren't so clear and it sounded like someone said " Eshkoshka ", so that's how the crew started saying it.
yessss....best interview by far...Nocturnal came out in like '96 when i was 15...and every dude in high school was bumpin' 2pac and biggie and I remember rockin' Heltah Skeltah like these dudes are suckers....def a special time in hip-hop...love it

There may not be a single hip hop album I've listened to more over the years than Nocturnal. In my opinion, they were the best of their era. Ruck had his "second coming" as Sean Price and is, to this day, my favorite ever MC. But Rock is still right up there for me. Both extremely gifted. A cut above their contemporaries. I'm sure it's more complicated than just second comings. But I feel they definitely didn't get their just deserves. Not even close. I guess record sales truly don't mean shit to me, because Nocturnal and Magnum Force are two of my favorite albums of all time. I could never thank those two enough.
I highly recommend that you check out their reunion album titled D.I.R.T. (da incredible rap team) it's at least as good as nocturnal. it's still in heavy rotation on my playlist.
Great album Rock. We've been waiting for a long time. And your stories are fun to hear. Keep it movin G. Get that media training and keep bringing that real hip hop. #rockness #bcc #bumyjab

Much love to them, Sean may be gone, but he'll always be my number one, Rock is like his little brother, his best friend.
