Josh just answered back and now everyone is calling him out... The timeout from the gators started it plain and simple.

Absolutely massive win for Napier, this young defense is looking solid under Armstrong and the offense looked good in the first half still think he needs to get an OC though. The big thing is a lot of guys from that #3 recruiting class were in the building and Napier was still out on the field at 11:30 recruiting, its the kind of win that shows recruits the program is trending up.

Don't be too proud of the win over Tenn. Their 2 wins were over UVA and Austin Peay. And UVA also lost to James Madison. And it was the forever pitiful Tennessee. The gators had an ugly loss in their first game, remember.

He's starting to look like the star QB he was coming out of high school. Unfortunate he chose Wisconsin, with a pre-Wright Brothers offense. At Florida, he has a better offensive scheme with better weapons around him. I'm glad he's doing so well. He's a good guy.

Florida fan here, good win for them. Tennessee always has these moments though where they either choke in a big time game or lose to a team they shouldn’t, can’t ever trust them to do anything. I’m hoping this game can fuel the Gators to a really solid season, last couple seasons they finished 6-7 so I’m hoping for an 8-4, maybe 9-3 season
Gators own them in the swamp they are 0-10 in the swamp. The intensity playing there is just outrageous. Went last night and it’s so loud you can’t hear yourself think

A bunch of clowns thought Florida was bad after losing to Utah. Florida destroyed themselves that game with penalties and poor coaching during week 1. I'm not saying Florida is anywhere good but put some respect on Napier and what he's doing. SEC East is WIDE open this year.
I’m confused. I guess I was one of those clowns but you said they lost because of coaching and penalties. Those type of things don’t usually fix themselves. I do like the fact they see their strength is running the ball hopefully they will stay with it but I think they beat a bad Tennessee team.

Florida could be 0-10 and Tennessee 10-0 and the Vols would still lose 35-20 at Knoxville. They occasionally pull off a win like last year, but I bet the Vols won't win again until the '30s.

Now we can see with Tennessee playing someone with equal talent that they are not good.

People are blaming the refs but here’s a couple things.
Tennessees offensive line a lot of times could not handle the pressure.
Milton was missing a lot of throws like overthrowing the ball and he got a interception.
Tennessee defensive line was making obvious or dumb fouls.
Also Tennessee used their time outs quite inefficiently.
The offsides on 4th and 1 was the final nail in Tennessee's coffin IMO
Not mention that Tennessee had 3 four minute drives in the third quarter and didn't get one TD
Yeah some penalties I thought it was unnecessary, but Tennessee made so many mistakes.. they wasted timeouts for no reason- like be prepared when coming to the swamp

And as the comment mentioned …penalty for jumping on 4th& 1 …to give gators a fresh set of downs …

For those wondering, the penalty at the end of the game was after the play, so Tennessee did get the ball after a turnover on downs and both teams were called back on the field to run one play (Tennessee kneel down). It was a stupid call by the Tennessee coach to call a timeout on Florida's 4th down which started this whole fiasco. He could have just let the clock run out and leave with some class

The bottom line is, Tennessee played in a hard stadium, Tennessee line was dominated the whole game on both side!! Defense played fast, offensive line bounced back in a big way, Trevor and Montrell were great, Mertz was balling and managed the game perfectly. It was just an all around great team performance. After two schools and about eight years of waiting, Joe Milton finally got his chance to show the world what he is all about.
It's great, crushing Vol's hope early every year. They haven't gotten much right since Fulmer stopped coaching 'em.
A friend of mine who is a Gator fan said UT needs to change the song Rocky Top to Rocky Flop.

I'm not a fan of either team but love the SEC and football in general. I'm an Auburn fan. But why in the h**l did that coach call a timeout with 7 seconds left in the game and no way for Tennessee to come back. The player should have let up on that last play. But of course emotions are running high on both sides and in a negative way for the losing team. I blame the coach for that fight that broke out. Without that dumb timeout, it wouldn't have happened.
SEC is absolute dogwater this year. PAC-12 is killing it, but Colorado looks overrated after this game. Florida deserves to win the SEC and hopefully my Ducks or Beavs will win the PAC.
@@LordTylerBluGunderson it only looks that way for the SEC because Bama is playing poorly because their O-Line is not that good which causes a trickle down effect, affecting the QBs. The rest of the teams are playing like the always do. The SEC beats up on each other year in and year out with Bama and Georgia normally having stacked teams and winning the SEC Championship. It's rebuilding for a lot of SEC teams with my team, Auburn, being one of them. But the Ducks look good. They have Auburn's old QB, Nix, who I thought was pretty good but had very bad coaching with Harsin. It'll be interesting to see how this year turns out for sure.

How the Gators executed in this game gets me excited for the future. Execution means the team is in sync...it's so mental...the physical aspects of the game will further develop, but it's the mental piece that gets me excited to see. a sign of good coaching!
That coach is definitely undefeated when it comes to using all his timeouts. It was close but he had to pull that last one out to avoid getting accused of not doing everything he could to give his guys a chance. 😂

As a Fla grad married to a UT grad now living in Knoxville, it should come as no surprise as to who I was rooting for. However, those Gator DBs are quickly earning the monicker . . ."Toast". They 're god awful. Burned so often that had Milton been more accurate, this game would have swung the other way. Future opponent OCs will be taking this in as they play offenses. Got to get better quick. Great win for Billy Napier. Something to build momentum on.

Our special teams were absolutely atrocious today, had a very different idea of how the game was going to go based on the first Tennessee touchdown but there was no doubt in my mind by the end of the first half that the Gators had it.
All I heard (didn't watch the game) was that the refs won Florida that game. But that's what I always hear when Vols lose
