Loved this! I’ve watched a lot of these! I’m signed up for the 55k down there this next spring and a total of 3 for next year. I’ve never thought I could do a 100 mile race but this makes me want to try! Great job and great video! Congrats!
Great documentary. Thanks for sharing. My buddy and I will be there in March and this was extremely helpful as well as pumped me up for the beauty and sufferfest to come!
Amazing narration! Sums it up. I got a friend thinking about this race as her next race and this video will be used to study what needs to be done to be successful.
It’s a gorgeous race. Let her know that sand gaiters are clutch to protect the feet. I’ve done the 50 miler and it is so awesome because you hit all the high points without doing the 50 miles of loops
I can't imagine running 100 miles, but would love the opportunity to try one of these days. I'll get a few more ultras under my belt first ;-) Great film!!!
Thanks brother! There’s nothing I’ve ever done that compares to doing a hundred. Billy Yanflg did a film called “life in a day” that I thought really captures what it feels like, but it still isn’t the real thing. Keep pushing and you can definitely do it!
It is a stunning race and I'd highly recommend it. They have great race support and the aid stations are perfectly spaced. Just be prepared for lots of sand!
This place looks amazing! I have been to Arizona but never to Antelope Canyon. I can’t imagine running in that Arizona heat but I’m guessing your used to it. Great video, looking forward to more! Feel free to check out my travel adventures if your interested!
You need to get out there and see the slot canyons and Horseshoe Bend, they are totally worth the trip. The heat in March actually isn't too bad out there, but come summer it gets boiling!
Sorry, that was one of my first videos when I was still figuring out how to make them. Hopefully the quality and sound balance has been improved since then.

I'm running this race in 2022. Loved watching your video!
I’m doing the 50 miler in a few days. Great video. Thanks.
I did the 50 miler the following year and loved it. Best of luck!
The same documentary How to run 100 miles is what inspired me to do it. I'll be running antelope canyon 100 next month!
Best of luck! Antelope Canyon is an amazing race with some of the best views I’ve ever had on an ultra.

Best of luck on your race! Just don’t give up when your mind tells you to. The body can do so much more than the mind will lead you to believe.
Amazing! Strong work Tyler!
Thanks Eric! How you been man?

Thanks for a great video. Race of a lifetime

Great video and great job running the race in 2023
If you don't mind me asking what kind /brand of gaiters did you use
Raidlight desert gaiters. They are fantastic and kept all the sand out. Best of luck, it’s one of my favorite courses!
How was the recovery process/timeline following the race? I'm running my first one in Antelope Canyon in March 2023
looks amazing
It absolutely is. The video doesn't do justice to the beauty of the slot canyons and Colorado River views.

Great job.. what was your time?
Thanks! It was 29:05:41. The sand is brutal!
Music is too loud can’t hear what you are saying. Bummer
