I find it disingenuous when looking at global politics, it allears Biden and the democrats are far more dangerous to global stability and economic prosperity than Donald Trump and the republicans.

Um Chas, as someone who had ties to he US via my fiancé, I can confidentially tell you that the millions of migrants crossing are burdening the social security system and are being granted expedited amnesty. We have had illegals being housed in New York, Chicago, Denver, Houston etc that have displaced thousands of people in the Projects and that have replaced many people on waiting lists as priority. Secondly, some of these migrants are literally handed prepaid food cards to use in bodegas and supermarkets with up to thousands of dollars monthly. When Trump says they are destroying social security they are LITERALLY making it harder for entitled citizens.
That Nixon v Kennedy segment was fascinating. A bunch of details I wasn't aware of in there.

*FIRST:* America is still 25% of the worlds economy and most of OUR TRADE like all international trade relies on the US Dollar being the worlds reserve currency. Either our deals are done directly in $USD or the currency exchanges rely of $USD.
*SECOND:* We are about to stake the future of our nation's security on America still functioning as a reliable partner. I actually went to college in America and have many American friends. No doubt most American's can be relied upon but we are talking about the guy who sits in the Whitehouse as the world tries to deal with some very serious issues: Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Palestine and China-Taiwan.
*THIRD:* There's the elephant of all elephants stomping through the room, *CLIMATE CHANGE.* Make no doubt about it climate change will affect the worlds food supply and starving millions make for dangerous times. One of these 2 doesn't care and the other is incapable of doing what's needed.
Love America or hate it, doesn't matter as much as knowing the guy in the Whitehouse is *RELIABLE* and can be counted on to do the right thing under pressure.

If you don't think illegal migrants take out of the US social security system, then you might want to take a closer look at New York and Chicago and what the illegal migrants are costing in health care, housing and other benefits. It is staggering.
I’m not sure this debate will change anything. Yes the debate was bad for Biden, he looked tired and old, because he is tired and old.
The GQP are always releasing videos to make Biden look old and senile so I’m not sure if they will get any benefit from clipping parts of the debate. Magas won’t be changing their vote, and others that didn’t watch the debate will think it’s doctored video like all the rest.

As soon as Biden began to speak, I thought, SLOW DOWN! He was trying to speak way too fast, which tripped him up! If only he had taken his time and slowed down, it hopefully would have reduced his mistakes.

If this debate was Trump Vs Gavin Newsom trump would look poor. Newsom is a great debater even though I am not sure he could get elected
I think Eric Swalwell, rep. from California, would be great as a Biden replacement. He was part of the first Trump impeachment hearing (national exposure), is a lawyer (quick on his feet & an eloquent orator) and has that throwback look - could be an extra on a "Leave it to Beaver" remake - that a lot of older Americans would subconsciously feel comfortable/nostalgic with.

Yes I found that stunning to see how low the bar has been lowered in the US when Trump's performance could be even remotely call Presidential in what is called a debate, yet lacked any of the professional standards that most normal debates are meant to be held too. For me the real failure in the debate was that of CNN and its so called moderators who had zero control over what Trump said or did.
Excellent contributions from both your guests: Heidi Heitkamp, and Liz Mair. The can be no question that this no longer Biden v Trump. The new campaign hasn't taken shape yet, but the current one just ended.
It was honestly just sad, it felt like some kind of elder abuse. You can’t help but feel embarrassed for Americans when this is the choice they are being given.
