I wonder why , why and why they are still not that close nowdays
ilhoon said it was bc sungjae was getting popular, how he was involved with dramas, and other things so one of them felt awkward around the other. sungjae said it's because they don't go to school anymore (as they used to go together everyday but i think sungjae just meant it off as a joke). my sister said sometimes close friendships become awkward bc one of them feels something different about the other i hope you get what i mean lol but to me, it just happens. i used to be in a friendship where i used to be really close to this person 24/7 and one day we started growing apart and got REALLY awkward around each other. but now, i can hug her and be closer to her more than i ever did. so don't worry as i think iljae is improving day by day T_T

Izzah Farzana I find them getting back to being close again. I love seeing them growing individually but somehow it’s kinda obvious that they are becoming different towards each other over the years.
seems that the individual schedule give the impact , but its okay as long as theyre still together :) when ure an adult u tend to getting busy with work, looking up for money for living. thats normal as a human being :) so cheer up melodies :)

Ilhoon is really good hiding his pain if you don't pay attention. The pain. Ig they didnt know too since ilhoon always surpress his emotion. How come this young man have to go through that pain alone.

illhoon must have suffered a lot. He never had friends(he said it in his trainee days).His only friend was sungjae but unfortunately they became distant. The more sungjae became popular the more they became distant. At one point they became awkward with each other. We all know sungjae has changsub to depend upon but illhoon never had anyone to depend upon. Maybe that's why he started using drugs. He suffered in silence. There were times when sungjae ignored illhoon. I don't why he did that. But I felt sad for illhoon.illhoon was always there for sungjae.but still using drugs was not a good option. Drugs only relieves pain for some time. Using drugs is not a solution. I wish if he never had committed that mistake. He worked hard and faced hardships for several years to become successful but when he became successful he lost everything just because of one mistake . He was in his prime when he lost everything he had.
Seeing their reactions while listening to Hyunsik makes me wonder why. It's so sad seeing the awkward moments but I still believe that they just grew apart and still close based on some videos I watched.
Watching this video again and it tripled the pain I felt when I first watched it thinking that when will I be able see this interaction again now that Ilhoon leave the group.😭😭😭 It really breaks my heart.
I still remember the day i replayed this several times n weeped when ilhoon was sending off sungjae to militiary,bt still had hope i will get to see them together after 18 months,bt then all crashed and i still can't admit that was the last,i think that sent off was bearable,bt the way he left is
I din't realize this until now when i heard what hyunsik said..this makes me sad.i even cried.

I'm a new Melody and I haven't watched much of their old videos yet. I really wondered why the ship IlJae exists when I saw that there's not much interaction between the two unlike ChangJae. Now I know why IlJae exists. Watching this somehow breaks my heart 😢

Omg i never knew about this...... im new as melody and i never thought that iljae ship were this deep 😢 looking back at the old clips, it seems that both of them are really close because they are both young, so their personality are quite similar, thats why they are close. But now, looking at the recent clips, somehow they drifted apart because of their personality? Idk its just my opinion.... bcs we can see that ilhoon kinda matured a bit, (not that i say sungjae isnt matured 😂) and ilhoon always just laughed at sungjae's craziness, without joining him huhuhu. Its like... ilhoon just became a big bro to him eventhough they're just one year apart
that is actually very true!! i think so too, ilhoon kind of had his growing up phase and didn't want to act aegyo all the time like he used too kkk but im sure they're both close just not as close/interacting like how they used to when they were rookies

Do you remeber when eunkwang lead a trip for btob member. There was a part when sunghae decorating the christmas tree and ilhoon try to talk to sungjae but sunghae didn't give any reaction. Until ilhoon ask "are you mad?" Or something like that ..... it's really break my heart too.

Ruth Edria i need to watch that video ! sungjae is the reason why i started following Btob, but Sungjae needs to pay more attention to Ilhoon. theor awkwardness plus him saying that Changsub cared for him the most hurt for ilhoon. because at some point in their life, ilhoon watch his back when they were just starting. yes we all grew up, but dont forget those who were there for you.

I really miss iljae. Yeah a super close friendship can be destroyed when there is one of them feel 'strange' feeling (Im not saying gay 😋). If the maturity is the cause of them not close anymore, but then how about Changjae? 😎
based on what i watch from their old videos is because sungjae itself always looking up for changsub as 'sungjae responsible hyung'. the reason might be bcause each other have spend their 'catch-up' session at cube's toilet before. i think both of them have made many memories when their predebut era. it just like a 'deep talk' maybe. while other started debut in a 'somewhat skit' . so i think the awkwardness occured between ilhoon and sungjae is because the maturity and individual schedule. the fact that their age is just one year older like theyre to young to talk about deep feeling rather than with changsub or other hyung line. But its okay as long as theyre still together :) theyre normal person just like us . im also didnt interact with my highschool bestfriend anymore due to each of us have a responsibility toward fmily toward myself. so hang on there melodies :) lets hope for a good news as always

I think d way f thinking changes with d time n maturity of a person...they r both maknaes n somewhat shared same wavelength...so they supported n spent time with each other initially..now they r mentally strong by themselves...don't depend on each other...but do legpulling of hyungs n dpnd on them in case an emotional or any mental crisis occurs..like the one said...bt in the beginning both of their xprssn change makes me sad too
