I recently tried steamed rainbow and I don’t know what from ds&durga and I can safely say they’re a super interesting house, can’t wait to get my hands on the pistachio one
@@XX-se6sn thank you so much! That truly means a lot to me. Steamed Rainbow is one of the few I haven't smelled yet. How is it? The Pistachio one is interesting. Still getting to know it.
@@joesmellsgood steamed rainbow is a really interesting combination of really dewy florals and green notes, reminds me of the actual smell of rain on grass, like a flower growing on wet soil/concrete, it’s awesome perfumery

I'm so curious about that and Wipeout. So so so curious. They don't do samples of the studio juices though and I'm not close to LA or NYC. I may see if some decant sellers have samples I can get to satisfy my curiosity about those and many others from them

Putting together a discovery set now…I have Saint Vet and Cowboy Grass…what else do you recommend?
What other frags do you enjoy from other houses? Just trying to get an idea of the style. Mississippi Medicine is a very interesting dank woody fragrance. Bowmakers is another woody frag but very dry. I just got a sample of Black Magenta and it's this soft, sweet, waxy, warm and inviting scent. Honestly, they have so many interesting frags. I'd read the blurbs and pick what sounds most interesting. And then sit with them for a bit. Wear em multiple times. The two you picked are my favs from the house for sure though.
@@joesmellsgood I tend to go for spicy woody elegant gentleman as my arch type, but have a secret affinity for dry simple sweet fragrances, (cloud for example)
@@willmarshall4685 amber kiso should be in the list then. Bowmaker and MM as I mentioned before are both bold woodsy fragrances. If I were to add 2 more to Cowboy Grass and St Vetyver, based on what you said, I'd pick Amber Kiso and Mississippi Medicine. Both very bold and interesting
Those four are also quite a bit of range. St Vetyver is the only one with much sweetness, then Amber Kiso, but MM and Cowboy Grass are more dry fragrances.
