Love the deck profile and your philosophy. This is why I keep playing premium. The format is the best format because of how many cards we have and the fact that we have all the tools to play really skill tests hard.
Ps. Dolph has incidental value as a potential 5k shield if you don’t want to discard for pg if you don’t need it.

totally agree with your upgrade and update your favorite deck rather than chase the meta. 1. cause you have alot more knowledge on piloting a deck you love and play more over a deck you built just till it falls off. 2. it has better way of representing who you are as a player when you play your clan rather than be everyone else who doesnt represent and just goes for win no matter what.

I’m glad to see that Cody the Ghostie!! I ran it too for the Kagero retire. Discovered it while playtesting and was like “YO THIS CARD ACTUALLY WORKS”. The beauty of playtesting for competitive is asking.
Just tried testing this deck, hella fun and honeslty very technical.
As someone who never played granblue, this deck may have sparked an interest.

I always love watching your Granblue Deck Profiles. As a former YGO player, I really do feel like Granblue is the closest you can get to hardcore YGO gaming from the drop zone as a resource, running engines, tech cards, a utility Extra Deck, etc. etc.
Beatrice is also probably one of the, if not THE best G3 that Clan Selection gave the clan. It may not be flashy as the others but the synergy she gives to the deck that she revitalizes even old cards like the original Obadiah is what I like to see in a card regardless of card game.
One thing I want to ask: What Protect Gift did you go into for most games? I assume Protect I but is there any matchup where you go into Protect II?
Protect 1 yes :)
The matchups where you can protect 2 are:
- Luard if dragheart/dragdriver build (big intercept can be better than p1 with rancor and morfessa restricts)
- Nubatama Jamyocongo (your hand will vanish anyway)
- Gastille (when you know next turn you die anyway so up your kill chances now)
- Chaos (situational dependent on if you know you will lose your markers at end of turn anyway so might as well take the power buff over nothing)

Another one: Did you ever consider Tempest Sphere(s) in the deck to speed up the GB count, possibly add Heals in hand for G Guarding?
@@730Flare I have but:
1) The deck is already incredibly tight. The only things that can be cut are grade 1s, which lowers ride consistency.
2) Always assume that against decks where you desperately need those heals, you will be at 0 damage. (The 3 loop decks)

edit: ive watched some of the profile so far and i have a question, what is the purpose of running the od triggers over normal v triggers other than not needing the 5 and 10k power?
OD triggers and normal V triggers are the exact same thing so I went for the nicest looking one haha

also i know this is not the right video to ask this but i've been wondering this for ages about the game, for g units can you use ones form one sad clan in a deck there not part of. like say if i wonted to use Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspell in a granblue deck is that ok or do's it have to be in the same clan as the rest of the deck?

1 honoly? I get that most of the good loop decks can out it but wouldn't you want at least 3 for consistency? If someone denies you dmg for colombard (which they should), wouldnt you rather have the option to draw it over bone or ship?

Yeah he lost in semi finals and then recorded/edited/uploaded an entire 30 minute deck profile before the tournament ended lol
I’m curious, why didn’t u run navigator if u wanted to go through your deck faster?
Lack of room. The only slot I could get was the Bone one and when you only run 1, the odds of you reaching him in time are extremely small.

Playing 1 new 1 old cutlass atm and it feels quite good seince it still underhits and old cutlass isnt terrible and if you do get to play the extra cc engine you dont waste a call on

Is there any tips on how to play this deck. You rattle off a large number of things as examples, but I'm new to this game and find it hard to follow. I still want to try this deck out.
Combos would be nice to know.
- Zarzan was banned so this deck changes a lot
- I wouldn't recommend this as a first deck. It's quite technical. The profile attempts to bring as much value as possible BEYOND the typical things a Granblue player already tends to know (since every granblue profile out there already goes over those basics, I felt there was no point taking an extra 20 minutes to explain those).
- Ideally you'd start with the V version of this deck since it's much easier OR check out many other granblue deck profiles to get down the basics.

What do you think of the g3 heal with Zazan?
What g3?
@@SolemnVanguard grade 3 heal, on G zone, before you reach g3 this fight, pick one of the following effects.
- +10000 power until end of turn to VG
- -2 crit to one of your opponent's units until end of battle
If played as a rear guard, if you have zero cards on your damage zone, put the top card of your deck in the damage zone
And how many pcs, 4 or nothing?
The G3 heal isn't a vanilla, though?

Take 1 damage, counterblast.
Look for Zarzan and hopefully you have 2 vanillas (Mekira or a trigger) on hand

What did you actually play against and what are those 6 problem decks?
If I had to guess, I'd say that the 6 problem decks are:
Murakumo
Pale Moon loop
Gleipnir loop
Valkyrion loop
Blademaster loop
Brufus&Gastille one shot
I played vs chaos, valk, riviere, kagero, mura, kagero, fenrir, fenrir, mura, gastille

I had lost to my friend's Star Vader deck 50 times when using Granblue.
Use balanerena and bad bounty. Greed shade will turn all cards in hand to grade 0 and 1. So balanerena is very good against these decks
