You know what funny is that the other girls did better without Abby. They all got jobs like movie deals and t.v shows and music. If Abby would have work with them in the first place and not just only Maddie then they would have equal opportunities.

abby didn’t do anything because that was nothing to do with dance. it was the show lifetime.
When the other girls (heck, EVEN Maddie) got recognition on their own, Abby threw tantrums. See: her saying “money changed Chloe,” dedicating a dance to Nia “betraying the team” with her music career, or cutting down Kendall’s singing career by saying “when we were in that hanger for the music video, you should have been in class”
See also: trying to pull the girls out of MattyB’s music video, sabotaging Makenzie’s deal with a fashion company by drawing their attention to a picture of her vaping (“is THIS your brand?” Or whatever she said), or screaming in an episode that if Maddie couldn’t dance, she would never have gotten work (“they could hire a kid who could ACT!! With PERFECT TEETH!!”)
She didn’t want THEM to be successful, SHE wanted to be successful; and once they didn’t need her, they became “traitors.”
Heck, she’s only respecting Jojo now because Jojo’s worth millions and she can ride her coat tails out of obscurity.
Since Season 1 Abby has been saying Maddie is the star, Maddie is perfect, I need to find my next Maddie, Maddie isn't here that's why you lost. The moms are absolutely right. This show has been telling everyone no one else matters but Maddie. That's how it's always been.

In school, favoritism is horrible, but Abby goes beyond favoritism and has been shown to be incredibly mean and hateful to her other dancers, especially Chloe, Payton and Nia. Of course, if Maddie’s her favorite let her be, but don’t prioritize her over others. And just so you know, ALDC isn’t that good of a company. Not including fame, Maddie isn’t the best dancer in the world by a long shot. She’s just average, and better than the other guys on the team. Look at other professional dancers, and even though they aren’t very well known, they are still way better than Maddie. These are facts not opinions

It’s interesting that later on, Abby did admit that she did purposely put Maddie in a lot of those opportunities and would mention her/convince others to choose her over the other girls.
holly did the right thing later on and got her a new manager , cause abby wasn’t gonna let nia be as successful as she has . and the moms know abby favours maddie in everything , so why let her be your kids manger when you know they won’t be as successful as you’d want them to be?

I don't know if the rest of the girls would find Jojo's career as valuable, yes she's massive with 9 and under but what about when they grow up and the new generation are no longer interested, her career has a expiry date and she'll find it hard to transition into main stream media like maddie. Comparing the new west side story vs a toy line are very different.

I don't actually think that Jojo's career is as respected as the other girl's. All the other girl's careers are of substance but hers is because she was on a Nickelodeon show and her fans are primarily very younge kids
Let’s be honest, Maddie is an amazing dancer, and she’s really friendly. I don’t in particular hate her, or dislike her. I just hate how everyone mostly gives her all the attention and the spotlight. Abby is giving her great treatment while she barely mentors the other kids.
She also always puts Maddie on the top of the pyramid even if she’s not there to rehearse with Abby. Great dancer or not, the other girls deserves just as much attention as Maddie does.

The thing is Abby had been advocating for the 1 kid since the beginning of the show. So if she’s the only one she’s putting out of course her name will circulate faster, and her resume will heighten because when opportunities came Maddie was always Abbys first pick.

Maddie is an amazing dancer, but what makes her Abby’s favorite is that Maddie has the “face”, she can learn choreography fast, and she has won many times. Maddie isn’t the best dancer. She’s the best dancer sometimes, but not all the time. I think Maddie likes being the best. Abby was not gonna let her go. When the girls left, did she cry? Nope, only when Maddie and Kenzie left.
If you want the other members to be like Maddie, then treat them like Maddie.

They did and I mangers are not well taken in the entertainment industry in LA. Casting directors and producers rather work with agent cause from their experience managers are too controlling. Both my parents new this working in the entertainment business so as a kid they made sure I signed with an agency. I also figured this out working as an assistant with a high profile casting co. At the time casting directors would literally toss aside kids who had managers as apples to agents UNLESS the kid in already known in the industry they will make an exception. But they HATE managers, from my experience.

The cast has to ask the producers if they can but the producers normally only let Maddie do stuff then make it look like it was Abby who said that , because the more Maddie looks like the favourite, the more drama there is for the show . The cast has spoken about this and also said that if they don’t follow along with the fake storyline’s they will get fined .

People in one episode when Christi and Kelly were there, it came out that a show called for the girls to audition but Abby told them that the only one available was Maddie. So she got the part by default. It was a part that Brooke would have been right for because they wanted a 13 or 14 year old.
This show made Maddie purposely so hateable. Producers did a great job . It’d a shame for Maddie because I’m sure she’s a nice girl.

Maddie is the best dancer. With that she will be asked to do more than the other girls. The issue is abby doesnt care to give the time of day to any of the other girls, as a dance teacher you should love and support all your students. If they arent “good enough” thats abbys job as a dance teacher to make them better

I like how the moms are united in this episode Christi was talking about this from the beginning and all Abby was saying that Christi and Brooke mom is jealous. We as the viewers didn’t watch the show to see just Maddie alone we watch it because of all the girls. But sadly Abby only had her eyes on Maddie alone and now look at this out of all the girls that been on the show the only one who is much famous is Jojo. Maddie only had her dance career placed on the platter because of Abby and she is very talented she puts her heart and soul into her dance but to me her acting skills isn’t that strong. First time I actually agree with Jill on something. I mean _of course_ Maddie is gonna book countless jobs when Abby makes Maddie seem like the _only_ competent one on the show. She constantly praises Maddie, while putting every other girl down and making them seen insignificant compared to Maddie. So obviously jobs are gonna wanna book the dancer who is CONSTANTLY made out to be perfect, aka Maddie. Abby makes Maddie out to be a star, and doesn't advertise the same way for the other girls.
