    This is one I have to get. I do tons of small quilts for adopted cats and dogs at our shelter. This is much faster than the method I've used..I like the machine stitched binding because it will hold up over the years. Thanks a bunch.

    I've had this attachment for my MC12000 a few years and not had great success due to untidy corners. Your tip to use tape looks like a much better method than I have used. I will be trying it out again! Excellent video with clear instructions, thank you.

    After watching this video I purchased this wonderful piece of equipment and it is so worth it. I don’t usually do that but I am so thankful to you for showing me because I don’t like binding anymore because it hurts my hands to hand stitch now. Thank you

    Thank you, very helpful for any of the binding attachments, I was worried about how the corners was done and the tip about leaving extra edging/batting is great. Can’t wait to get my attachment x

    I'm terrible binding quilts. I can't seem to sew straight, and I miss the binding a lot on the back side. I've wanted to get this tool, but if I remember right, it's expensive. But it looks like a much better way to bind a quilt. I do wish I could see how you do the corners better. I will be checking into the tool again.....Maybe ask my husband for a gift....lol

    Very interesting. I don’t have a Janome but wanted to see how this would work. You did a great job in demonstrating it.

    Thanky you for this great Video. But what is not clear for me is, who can I make the end of the bias that looks good. I meen, that the fabric does not fray out and the end is not too thick. Sorry for my english, I am from germany.

    I have binding attachments for my serger and cover stitch machines. Now I know how to work with the corners! Thank you so much! I also have a Janome 15000 and can see that this attachment would allow you to do decorative stitching. Hmmmm - might have to check that out...

    How much extra batting should you leave when using this attack? Thanks.

    I was wondering how you use the serpentine stitch with the acufeed foot? All my stitches get grayed out except straight line stitching with the acufeed foot

    What is the name of the fabrics used. Please great demo. Going to try tape. I take a needle and thread and do a “stay” Stitch to hold miter in place.

    Hello. Can I get this for Janome 4120qdc? All I can find is the binder foot only ...
    Thanks

    • @AmyQuilts
      @AmyQuilts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 7mm version could work on your 4120, but There’s not enough harp space on that machine to accommodate the tape holder. It would be very awkward

    • @AmyQuilts
      @AmyQuilts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 7mm version of the quilt binder set technically can be used on a 4120...but these sets were made for the machines with bigger throat space so it's very difficult to feed the binding through the guide because there's not enough room.

    I hate these stupid videos when the instructor addresses the comments. “Hey Sylvia, good to see you here, did you finish your quilt?” And “Hello Susan, how’s your mother?” We don’t give a rats butt about what time it is in South Africa - we came here to see the attachment. “Lives” are wonderful when someone asks a question and we get to learn from the answer but the worthless chit-chat is annoying and not necessary - which is why I always move on. Too many great instructional videos out there to waste my time on those with content with no meaning.
