I wouldnt recommend ever tipping the compressed air can sideways nor upside down when blowing with it. That's why you'll get a liquid discharge and that liquid can fry your console. Always keep the can upright and if you need to get at a certain angle then move the console to the desired position not the can. I know this from experience as ive taken apart, cleaned, and repaired many consoles over the years.

It's an unlocked framerate on certain games not a dust issue. While dust is present, cleaning it will do nothing to stop the loud fan noise it's the fans keeping the cpu/gpu cool while the unlocked frames on some games menus etc put alot of stress(heat) on it. Don't mislead people into thinking this can be solved with a wipedown of what is basically a new console at the time of this video being uploaded.

There's hundreds of videos of this on youtube but rarely/never does anyone run one before and after to show the difference. I cleaned the whole fan to brand new on mine and it did nothing. Still sounds like an SR71

@@escogaming1738 take the power supply out and blow through that and through the heatsink. It won't make it quiet, but it won't be as loud.

This video only cleaned the fan, that’s not even worth it. You need to clean the whole sync vents/fans.
Also, the screw you need if you don’t have is “T8 security screw driver” amazon or eBay.
You have to clean the “dust wall” it can be cleaned through the fan, if you dont belive me grab a light and look through the fan, there should be like a cage that colets dust

What to do then?
Use a q tip to hold the fan in place while you blow on it with compressed air, pretty sure it isn’t good to let them spin like that
Yup, if the fan spins it can build up a charge due to it still being plugged into the power source and can short it out when plugged into the wall.
Or throw out the bearing for the axis and strip the fan out. (Really not good)

You’re holding the air duster wrong. You’re supposed to hold it upright because you want it to spray air not liquid. I don’t think I’ll be taking advice from someone who doesn’t know how to properly use an air duster 😂

Is comp air meant to be effective? I sprayed my fan with it. The dust looks like it decreased but there's still lots after use.
OK so I cleaned out my ps4 exactly how this video showed me. I spent a good 30mins cleaning it around the vents and fan. And yet my console still sounds like a Dyson hoover.
Probably needs a deeper clean or whenever your running has the cpu slowly dying

You tend to blow the dust deeper inside the console ! A vacuum cleaner is better, WITH small accessories.

It pushes the dirt into the heatsink and it's gonna cause ur system to heatup.

I gotchu. Alright, so place the ps4 pro facing you once you've taken the cover off. Now, use ur phone flashlight or any light to shine inside where the fan is. There's this thing the fan blows to that looks like a grill. Get the can of compressed air (make sure to the small straw) and maneuver the straw through the fan blades, blow air through there and you should see dust coming out through the back of the ps4. Make sure to blow out all the dust hidden in there. After you've done all that it should be significantly quiet.
People don't ever show how to do it this because they don't know about it. I discovered this by attempting to clean my ps4 for the second time.
I really need help my PS4 pro is loud and now when I turn on my PS4 the disc inside has trouble reading the game. When I open my PS4 I seed dust but most of it is hiding and when I use the air can wouldn’t get more bigger and since I’m blowing wouldn’t it get more hard to take away?
