Love Kielder it's only a few miles up the road from home (Newcastle). Hammock camped there a few times 😊😊There's actually a village under the water the last time i was there the water level was down and i could see some of it's ruins.
Oh wow, we did read there was a village under there but never imagined you’d be able to see it - must have been seriously dry! It’s such an amazing part of the country 😀
I always enjoy watching your videos! Looks like you both are enjoying yourselves and cooking up some good meals in the van. All the food looked sooooo yummy. Here is hoping for some good weather for your trips, sending you some good vibes and looking forward to your next videos!
Found your van tour last night and immediately subscribed, you've done an amazing job together. Easily one of the most functional and comfortable vans I've seen. Loving your adventures and will enjoy seeing you travel the UK. Best wishes from lockdown in Australia, lovely to see your beautiful outdoors!
Hari OM Sarah and James, I have been binge-watching all your vids of van makeover and am now excited to see you out and about on the road at last... Northumbria coast is a delight and I was born and bred in the Borders (Galashiels). I am now a repatriated Aussie and living in Dunoon on the Bonny Land's west coast... lots of walking to explore around here if you plan to head this way (unless you've already been and gone?) There's the offer of tea and cake if you fancy a home visit! You are doing what I have always dreamt of but somehow never got around to. Even though now in my 60s, am still dreaming... Be safe, be well and travel happy!!! YAM xx
Hi! Oh wow, so great to hear you’re enjoying the videos 😀 We were actually over that way just a couple of weeks ago, we drove the SW300 coastal route but didn’t quite make it as far as Dunoon - what an incredible part of the world you live in though! We’ll definitely be heading back that way, we absolutely fell in love with it so may just take you up on your offer of tea and cake 😊🤗 Maybe see you on the road someday too 👍😁
Another great video guys, Peniel Heugh was built around 1817 to 1821ish to commemorate the battle of Waterloo. Looking forward to all the Scottish videos as Scotland is one of our planned trips when we finish the van. Put a window in yesterday and it doesn't leak, yayyy. Stay safe and take care guys xxx
Thank you! And thanks for the info on Peniel Heugh too, it was very lacking in facts up there 😅 Scotland has been the easiest and most welcoming place we’ve experienced in the UK so far for a campervan so you’ll have a great time up there, we’re sure. Amazing stuff with the window 😀 The recent weather will have given itself plenty opportunity to prove it’s watertight too!
Thank you! Yeah we’ve fallen in love with Scotland, it’s great for visiting in a van too - very welcoming and so much incredible scenery to explore. And yes, Sarah’s laugh is amazing (James here btw) one of my favourite things about her 😁
Hi people, new subbie here. Really enjoyed your video today not far from my neck of the woods, and it's so interesting to see how you manage your meals in your van, Good luck with your channel and your travels.
Hi! Thank you, and what a beautiful part of the world to come from 😀 Which side of the border are you? Either way they’re both stunning. Thanks for watching 😊
Wow so lush and green up there (guess that's from all that rain 😅). Looks like you guys are really enjoying van life! Would be fun to hear your opinions of how it's all going in a 6-month update or something :)
The rain must definitely help 😅 But it’s so beautiful! That’s a great idea, we’ve got a q&a that we’ll hopefully be putting out next week which covers a few bits and pieces, but we should do a full update on all of our pros and cons. We’ll get on it 👍😀
It is man made. There is a village under the waves. Kielder was constructed to supply water for an industrial area in the Midlands I think. It was thought you be a white elephant and the transfer of water never happened. It dies, however, provide water for the NE.
Really good thank you...the inside of your van is stunning...good looking food...and erm...proper tea !...scenery looks lovely too 👍
Loving you guys can’t wait to see more of your adventures 👌👌👌
Ah thank you, much appreciated. We’re hoping to have another travel one out this week 😀
@@TheWholeWorldorNothing look forward to it stay blessed guys 🙏

Love that you have gone on the road. Brave. But superb.
Thank you 😊

Oh thank you! We always think it probably looks unappetising to other people 😂😂 Glad you’re enjoying the vids 😀👍

Again a beautiful video people! Scotland 's on my to-visit- list now. Is it just me or does Sarah really has a beastly laugh? Greetings from Flanders
